It is only 30 metres from the Les Chosalets ski de fond and beginners pistes, 400 metres to the Lognan/Les Grands Montets cable car and chair lifts and a ten minute walk to the centre of Argentière. It has three double bedrooms, two of which have ensuite facilities, and will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob and dishwasher. The living area has an L-shaped sofa (which converts to a double bed), natural wood burning fire, Satellite LCD TV and a CD/DVD Player. There is also a store room with a washing machine, separate dryer and a lockable safe for the use of guests. There is a cave on the ground floor, shared with the adjacent apartment, which is perfect for the storage of skis and ski equipment.

The picturesque village of Argentière sits at the end of the Glacier d'Argentière, high in the Chamonix valley. It offers a choice of skiing for beginners and experts, with skiing ranges from 1200m to over 3000 m framed by views of Western Europe's highest mountains. Argentière is the starting point for the cable car up to Lognan and Les Grands Montets (3295m), a skiing area famous for its steep and demanding slopes, both on-piste as well as off-piste. In total, the skiing area is served by 1 cable car (2 sections), 1 gondola, 5 chair-lifts and some ski lifts. All of these combine to make this an area which is also suitable for disabled skiers, for whom the Chamonix Tourist Board has made special provision. Les Grands Montets provides the perfect skiing venue for intermediate to expert skiers. There are also off piste runs which should only be attempted in the company of an experienced guide. The beginning skier will find Les Chosalets ideal for gaining their confidence.
