Coat Riou is located less than 10 mins from white sandy beaches, and one minute from the beautiful Chateau Kerjean Park. The medieval town of Morlaix is less than 25 mins away, and we are 20/25 mins from the international ferry port of Roscoff and Brest international airport. Local market town is 10 mins away and the village is about 3 mins by car: (baker, butcher, pubs x3, supermarket, gastronomic restaurant 2*, banks x2, hairdresser). Coat Riou is very central to most things therefore an ideal base to visit Finistere. If you're into walking, nature, sailing, water sports or just wanting miles of white sand beaches and turquoise water this is the place for you. The summer boasts numerous types of festivals from food to modern music. Coat Riou is a good place for a family holiday where parents can relax and kids can can do their own thing!

Additional information about rental rates

  • To confirm your rental, a deposit of 30% of the total amount is needed. The remaining sum is due no later than 8weeks (in high season: July+August) prior to your arrival, or 6 weeks before if in low season.
    Failure to pay the remaining sum within the time limit the property will then be relet and the initial 30% deposit will NOT be refunded. As sometimes things do come up in life that can not be avoided i.e illness, work etc, I highly recommend holiday insurance for this purpose.
    A security deposit of 400 euros in cash or in a euro cheque will need to be issued upon arrival, and will be returned after a thorough walk through at the end off stay.
    Minimum Stay Policy: If the stay is shorter than the original booking time funds will NOT be reimbursed.
  • A meter reading of the electricity will be taken upon arrival of your stay and again upon departure. Electricity costs 0.12€ centimes per Kw.
    The Swimming pool is NOT a heated one.

Notes: All renters by french law must have the appropriate holiday rental insurance to cover their entire stay in the house. (Just in case the BBQ gets out of hand!!) The swimming pool is only available from June to September and is NOT heated. Bed linen, Towels, Beach Towels, Tea-towels are NOT provided. Quilts, pillows and mattress protectors ARE PROVIDED. Beds and quilts are standard doubles and standard singles. The house is let FULLY cleaned, (IE floors vacuumed/ swept and washed, windows, toilets cleaned etc.) If you do not wish to do a FULL clean, then 50€ will be deducted from your cash deposit for this purpose. Don't mind smokers, just please don't do it inside the house. COAT RIOU used to be a country working farm, and still is surrounded by fields of corncobs etc, with the occasional tractor coming down the lane! It has almost an acre of land and more than 3/4 of that is at your disposition.
