Cadaques holiday house

The villa was elegant and beautiful, and immensely well-equipped for a large party. As I wrote in the visitor book, a lot of thought and a generous spirit lies behind this property, which has a wonderful pool. We especially enjoyed the layout of the bedrooms along a corridor from which one could step straight out onto the pool terrace. Indeed, all the main windows and shutters can be slid fully open allowing the outside and inside to be enjoyed seamlessly as one. Well-positioned for cooling daytime breezes the whole villa felt cool and comfortable in the sun. We loved Cadaques, and though we didn't eat out much - it was far too tempting to spend the evenings on the terrace by the illuminated pool watching shooting stars and the blazing lights of the crusie liners leaving Barcelona in the far distance or, closer to home, the single lights of the flotilla of fishing boats setting out for nighttime fishing - we adults did dine at Casa Nun having secured an outside table. As night fell over the town the scenery was magnificent."
