Maison Rose Apartment 1 is a modern very well appointed, luxury apartment. It has 3 Bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin 1 with ensuite with Hamam 'STEAM ROOM') 2 bathrooms and an open plan living area. The main living area has been designed with contemporary living in mind, it has wooden flooring with under floor heating and a fully fitted kitchen with Graninte worktops, Oven, Hob, Microwave/Combi oven, Fridge, Freezer and Dishwasher. The lounge area has 2 comfy sofas (1 of which is a sofa bed) with satellite TV and music centre and has french doors leading onto a terrace which has views of Argentiere Glacier (ideal for BBQ). The dining table divides the kitchen and living area and there is also a breakfast/bar area. The master bedroom has doors leading to another stone terrace area and forms part of a courtyard garden to the rear of the apartment. There is a cellar suitable for storing ski's and bikes or other outdoor equipment. Centre of village ideal for those croissants in the morning.

Notes to the rental rates

• THE ADVERTISED RENTAL RATE IS EUROS, WE ALSO ACCEPT POUNDS STERLING at the exchange rate on day of booking.
  ****SUMMER RENTAL RATES ARE REDUCED THIS YEAR DUE TO BUILDING WORK AT FRONT OF BUILDING. WE HAVE A PATIO AND SHARED GARDEN AT REAR OF BUILDING AS AN ALTERNATIVE SUN BATHING AND BARBECUE AREA.*****Cleaning,linen and towels will be charged at an extra £150 per week during reduced pricing period,
  The rental rates vary from 800 Euro (£700) to 2000 Euro (£1750) according to time of year. Block bookings of more than 2 weeks will be discounted, please ask for details.
  
• 25% deposit (NON REFUNDABLE) is requested at time of Booking and the balance must be paid 1 month prior to occupancy. £250 deposit it taken at this time by cheque which will be returned with 2 weeks of your departure provided there are no breakages. Breakages will be charged according to cost of replacement. It is best to advise us if there are any issues. This avoids embarrassment further down the line. Linen, Towels and Cleaning are included in the price quoted and are changed at the end of each week. Cots can be provided at an extra charge (price on request).
  
• Change over day is negotiable, however during peak period we mostly work on a Saturday to Saturday basis dependant on availability. The apartment is available from 3 pm on arrival and we ask that you leave the apartment no later than 10 am on your day of departure. This enables us to prepare the apartment for the next guest. You can store your luggage in the basement if you arrive early and want to ski or if you wish to leave later in the day. Accommodation and Facilities for the apartment in Argentiere, France

Skiing in Argentiere, Chamonix, Mont Blanc.

Although Argentiere boast the most challenging area in the Alps the surrounding area is also good for beginners and intermediates alike and the ESF French ski school is one of the best in Europe. The village is very child friendly and children are welcome at restaurants and there is a great creche facility close to the Ski slopes called the Panda Club where they will teach your children to ski while you have some time to yourself on the upper slopes.

Summer in Argentiere

The summer can be as relaxing or as energetic as you would like to make it. There are great mountain walks or hikes on offer with breathtaking views to suit all abilities. Paragliding off the top of Brevent with an experienced instructor (this is one of the most amazing experienced I have ever had!, white water rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, glacier walking, ice climbing, rock climbing with an indoor climbing wall at Les Houches this could be your next hobby. For the gentler activities, there is riding, tennis, swimming, cycling, fishing and Golf. Luge at Plannard in Chamonix with a play area for children and above Les Houches in the trees there High Rope climbing loved by all children and adults. You can take the Aigulle de Midi cable car and take in the views of Mont Blanc, Mer du Glace and St Gervais tramway can be enjoyed by all. There is a 18 hole golf course in Plan Praz 3 km away. A lake near Sallanches with sand, picnic area, 180 view of Mont Blanc Massif.

Getting to Argentiere

There are many airport transfer services running between Argentiere/Chamonix and Geneva Airport and charge approx 40 Euro per head per trip. Car Hire is reasonable provided you book early and the Car Hire companies at the airport are Hertz, Avis and Europcar. There are several car hire areas at Geneva the French side and Swiss side, if you are not familiar with the area it is best to hire a car from the Swiss side as this will ensure your return to the airport via the motorways, the other option is through Geneva and is not ideal if not done before.
