Winter Season Activities:
The Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area extends to over 500km of marked piste suitable for all abilities covering St.Gervais, Megeve, Les Contamines, Les Houches and many other pretty ski villages. The apartment sits alongside a red piste that then descends about 400 metres to the main gondola station out of St. Gervais. The nursery slopes at Le Bettex are only 10 minutes drive away. Chamonix and the famous Vallee Blanche (26 km off piste glacial descent from the Aiguille du Midi) is only 20 minutes away by car.
The local ski school has many English speaking instructors
Ski and boot hire can be arranged in advance from the Intersport hire shop conveniently located at the foot of the nursery slopes in Le Bettex. Clients boots and skis hired here can be left in the heated ski locker overnight.
Summer Season Activities:
The summer season in St.Gervais can be as active as the winter season or can be as relaxing as a beach holiday. Sunbath all day by the side of the well maintained private outdoor pool with super views up to Mont Blanc. Alternatively 10 minutes drive way on the valley floor is beautiful Lac Passy an alpine lake with crystal clear water and a man made beach at one end with safe swimming area supervised by life guards. Other activities at Lac Passy in the high season include boating, fishing, mini golf, trampolining, an adventure park in the trees and a short walk away go-karting and quad biking.
For active types there is superb walking, climbing and mountaineering to suit all levels with a mountain guide office in St. Gervais. Mountain biking, white water rafting, paragliding and summer toboggan are all within 15 minutes drive from the apartment. At Le Bettex in St. Gervais there is an equestrian centre offering horse and pony riding to suit all abilities.
Owners Notes:
The apartment does not have a maid service. Please leave the apartment in the condition you would expect to find it in on arrival. In the apartment there is a vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, broom, dustpan & brush and cleaning products for use before departure.
You will need to bring with you bed linen - sheets, duvet and pillow covers - towels and a tea towel for drying up.
Although the apartment sleeps five comfortably, living area in the apartment is compact and we recommend a maximum of four people staying in the apartment at a time.
