THE APARTMENT: The Palazzo del Grillo Apartment provides deluxe accommodation with all modern comforts for 1-6 persons: 105 square meters/ 1135 square feet apartment (parquet and tiled floors, AIR CON., INTERNET ACCESS DSL/broadband and wireless) on second floor with ELEVATOR/LIFT . The apartment consists of : *** A large LIVING ROOM with dinner area ( design table and 6 leather seats by Frau),and relax area with well-stocked book-cases, large designer divan and a double sofa bed ( 180x200cm) that can be used also as single bed when closed. *** TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS both with large closets: * The master bedroom : queen size bed (160 x 200 cm), desk, bathroom and 2 windows. * The second bedroom with large desk usable as study too: 2 single beds (90x 200 cm) that can be used also as a double bed (180 x200cm), 2 windows. If the two beds are put together to form a double bed of 200 x 180cm. The two mattresses fit snugly together without leaving any uncomfortable gap between them.

Very clean, incredible location, handsome building, I cannot recommend this apartment too highly.
Even the elevator has a seat in it, so if one is tired after a day of sight-seeing...!
Fine restaurants within yards, excellent for transport - taxis came immediately on being called.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing

Comfortable apartment. Homely atmosphere in living area. Simple but adequate kitchen and bathrooms. Nice bedrooms. The apartment is situated very centrally. Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Monument Victor Emmanuel all within easy walking distance. Good starting point for longer city walks. A bus straight to the Vatican stops close by. Several restaurants within a few minutes' walk, one even opposite. Prompt and friendly information exchange with owner during booking procedure and before/during stay. Surely recommendable!

This apartment was great and in a perfect location. It was close to just about all the attractions and we felt very at home during our stay. We would definitely recommend this apartment to friends & family.

Amazing Home Away from Home

Palazzo del Grillo exceeded our expectations. Even the pictures don’t do it justice for it’s incredible location with ruins outside your window. The living and dining rooms are huge with big beautiful windows overlooking the neighborhood below. Nice cross breezes kept it cool and comfortable despite the warm weather. We easily walked to the Forum, Colosseum, Trevi, etc. The great location allowed us to return to the apartment for a snack and rest in the afternoon before going out again. There are excellent restaurants and shops around the corner. Everything was well maintained. The full kitchen and washer/dryer were a plus. Teresa, the local representative was there on-time to greet us, make recommendations, and pick up the key. Our security deposit was promptly refunded. The apartment greatly added to our wonderful vacation experience. It’s 1000 times better than staying in a hotel.

What a Great Location!

Right on top of the Roman Forum, with the ruins outside your window. It's a location that has even the expert guides amazed.

Great street life where wedding parties spill out of the church right across from the front door. You can't believe the history on all sides. Convenient to the Colosseum and to several museums, and to bistros and shops on the Via Cavour.

Plenty of room, and the complementary Internet helps you stay in touch.

Note - no English language TV service.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing
