'Leon' - This pretty apartment is located at the edge of the picturesque old town of central Cannes just a few steps from the port It is ideally located just 6 minutes walk to the Palais des Festivals and 2 minutes walk along Quai Saint Pierre the beautiful sandy beach. Access to this sunny, south facing apartment is via a large inner courtyard, a quiet haven just steps away from the hustle and bustle of central Cannes. The apartment comfortably sleeps four people having one bedroom plus a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. The living area is separate from the kitchen and quite private for anyone wishing to use it as a bedroom. The modern kitchen is well equipped and includes ceramic hob, oven & dishwasher along with all the usual items you may require. The lovely sunny bedroom has twin beds and large window opening onto the quiet courtyard area. Cot available. The kitchen door opens out onto the terrace which is south facing and has table & chairs for relaxing outside.

The apartment is Located in central Cannes. Vieux Port is the area surrounding the old port where some of the most luxurious yachts in the world drop anchor. 16 Rue Georges Clemenceau is just behind Quai Saint Pierre, just steps away from the port. 6-7 minutes walk from the Palais des Festivals it is ideally located for all the conferences and festivals including the world famous Cannes Film Festival and congress such as MIPCOM, MIPIM, MIPTV Cannes Lions, etc. The Boulevard de la Croissette with it’s designer boutiques and palm trees is just a few minutes walk as is Rue D'Antibes and Rue Meynadier ... shopping paradise. It is also well located to visit the many varied restaurants in Cannes, all just a few minutes walk. Pay a visit to one of the chic restaurants along the Croissette or wander through the winding streets of Le Suquet and choose from the vast array of small restaurants with tables overflowing onto the narrow streets.

  • The lovely good sized sunny bedroom is accessed via three steps down onto a lower level. The beds will be dressed with pretty blue linen before your arrival and it has a small table with lamp. The built in wardrobes in the bedroom provide plenty of hanging space and shelves. The beds can be made up as either two singles or as a superking. A large traditional shuttered window opens onto the quiet courtyard area filling the room with sunshine - but being in a courtyard no noise from the bustling busy streets of Cannes. We have a cot available for babies on request. The Sofa bed in the living room sleeps two additional guests.

Notes: The modern well equipped kitchen includes a ceramic hob, eye level oven, dishwasher and double fridge freezer along with all the usual items you may need during your stay such as kettle etc. The good sized terrace is south facing and on ground level in a courtyard, it has a fence surrounding it and is accessed via a gate. There are some steps at the entrance to the courtyard area and whilst being unsuitable for wheelchairs it is not too difficult for pushchairs. There is a table and chairs on the terrace for dining or relaxing with a drink after a long day out and about. The apartment is non smoking.

Notes to Rental Rates: • It is important to us that our apartment is spotlessly clean for your arrival. Beds are dressed with fresh white Egyptian cotton bed linen and plenty of clean white towels are provided for each guest. On your departure the apartment is checked and cleaned once again. Rental prices quoted above INCLUDE provision of this service. For two week bookings linen and towels will be changed half way through your stay. • The rates apply except during festival or conference periods. Please enquire for these special rates. • 50% to be paid on booking to secure the required dates then the final payment 4 weeks prior to your holiday. • A breakages deposit of €100 is required for each booking (payable with final payment). This will be returned to you immediately once the apartment has been checked and you have returned the key. • Payment is accepted in sterling or euros, either by cheque or bank transfer.

Arrival and Departure: • On your arrival in Cannes you will be met by our representative who will show you to the apartment and explain anything you will need to know during your stay. Your arrival and departure could not be easier as the apartment is just a short 2 - 3 minute walk from the main bus terminal in Cannes. The coach direct from Nice Airport runs every half hour, the journey taking approximately 40 minutes, non-stop. The train station is approximately ten minutes walk from the apartment. Taxis are available directly outside the airport.

Safe & Secure: The apartment is located on the ground floor in the corner of a large quaint, typically French courtyard so it is very safe as the terrace and all the windows to the apartment open out into the secure gated courtyard area not onto the street. There are some steps from the street into the courtyard area.

We stayed in this lovely apartment in August for the second year in a row and we will be staying there again next year.

The apartment was again spotless, there were few nice touches added to the decor including a plasma TV.

We ate more often in the apartment during our last stay. The kitchen is fully equiped and had everything we needed to cook for the 4 of us.

We had good tips from the couple who greeded us, they recommended nice restaurants and few places to visit.

You will not need a car if your are staying in this apartment as it is only 3 minutes walk to a nice sandy beach and to many many restaurants and bars. also for 1 Euro you travel by coach to many nice places ei Grasse.

Perfect apartment in Cannes

We spent two weeks in the apartment Leon in August 2008 and enjoyed every minute of it! The apartment well exceeded our expectations. It was nicely decorated, clean and the location was perfect. Close to the beach, to all the major attractions and the shopping area. Even if the apartment is situated in the middle of everything, it was very quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the courtyard terrace in the evenings. We have no complaints whatsoever and everything (meeting at arrival, payments, information etc) went smoothly. We will definitely come back!

Nice Apartment in a central location

We stayed in this apartment last year in August for 8 nights, it worked so well for us that as soon as we came back we booked again for August this year for 12 nights.

When we arrived at the coach station, there was a lady waiting for us, which was a nice touch, we only had to walk for 3 minutes to get to the apartment

It was big enough for the 4 of us, the kitchen is a good size for 1 bedroom apartment, it has everything we needed, the bedroom is a good size aswell and quite sunny. We have enjoyed drinking a bottle of wine in the quite terrace every night.

You can't beat the location of this apartment, you step outside, cross the road {not a busy road} and you are in heart of Cannes with the marina, many choice of restaurants and bars and a nice sandy beach.

This is a charming apartment, in a truly french setting, with the apartment situated neatly in the corner of a quaint courtyard in the picturesque "old town" of Cannes.

Our immediate impression once inside the door, was that the property had been thoughtfully appointed - excellently equipped modern kitchen, cute cosy sitting area and stylishly dressed bedroom.

A major plus for us also was the cleanliness of the place - being a bit of a stickler in this department, I couldn't find fault.

Dealing with the landlady was effortless and efficient - and as it was my first ever rental through the net, I couldn't have asked for a more hastle free transaction of info, keys, rent payment etc..

All in all, a great spot and a stone's throw from the major attractions - a particular must visit restaurant,Le Coquilles Brun, is about 600m away - fab for the seafood lover!
