LOCATION: literally a few minutes walk to the beaches, shops, supermarkets, bars, cafes and restaurants of Lagos, this lovely modern apartment is situated just off the main square in Lagos on a quiet pedestrian cobbled street. It is one of 8 apartments (second floor, no lift) in a new building beside the San Sebastian church, where the view of the marina, beach and the town is spectacular. The Meia Praia beach can be reached by ferry within a few minutes from the front door, Batata (town beach) 5 mins walk and Dona Ana beach 10 min. 2 minute walk to taxi stand, 5 mins to bus station and 10 mins to train station, no car required. The lounge has TV, DVD, 2 sofas (1 converts to a sofa bed) table and 4 chairs. The modern kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and all the usual utensils. The bedroom has a double bed, large fitted wardrobes and a storage cupboard, and the bathroom has a jacuzzi bath.

  • Long term winter lets negotiable. Winter prices exclude electric, gas etc. and cleaning/maid service.

The apartment is accurately described. Central to the town centre as possible, all amenities, including fantastic range of restuarants, easily accessible and the apartment itself modern. The apartment is near new which is reflected in the furnishing and decoration. Everything to help with comfort is provided.
We were met by the agent on our arrival at the apartment and she was extermely pleasant and helpful.
We will crtainly make a return visit.

a brilliant apartment in a brilliant location

My boyfriend and I have just returned home from Lagos and only wish we could have stayed longer. This apartment is accurately described above and is perfect for a place to stay whilst you holiday here. It is less than a five minute walk to the restaurants/bars/shops but also in a quiet street so you aren't kept awake. It is very clean and has everything you would want. There is no pool available but one isn't needed because there are 4 beautiful beaches nearby. Dona Ana is a must see! Stunning! Lagos is a great town and we had a perfect holiday here. Thanks to Rosaleen and Marianne who were so accomodating to our needs. We would definately return and advise anyone to visit.

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I stayed in Lagos in the end of August, we booked this apartment back in April and all the time until the day we arrived, Rosaleen was very helpful and easy to contact. Her agent Marianne met us at the local taxi rank (as we hired a private taxi transfer, which cost us 125 euros return) and led us to the apartment, she was easy to contact throuhout all the period we stayed in Lagos. There were no nasty surprises at all, everything was as described and agreed on! One thing to mention....There is a lovely local restaurant just opposite the aparment, called Maq J'Eite owned by a lovely Portugese family serving a very traditional Portugese food, which is fab and a great value for money (main course between 8.00 and 11.50 and draft pint of beer served in a beermug cost on 2 euros) + service is very homely and welcoming, you would no get anything like it in any other restaurant in Lagos! DEFINATELY a MUST GO, especially if you fancy a chilled, good value for money night out literally outside your doorstep.

Perfect Apartment for a Visit to Lagos!!

We loved this apartment!!! It was clean and had all the facilities we needed. We didn't want to leave!

The location was fantastic - within walking distance to everything. Although it was very close to the town centre the street is very quiet making it peaceful at night (apart from the church/clock bells that start around 8am each morning every half hour!)

Would definitely recommend this as a base for your trip to Lagos. We will definitely be returning!

Late Romantic Getaway

My girlfriend and I booked this apartment on the Thursday night prior to arriving in Lagos the following day. Rosaleen and her counterpart in Lagos, Marianne, were very friendly and accommodating at such short notice. We flew to Faro airport from East Midlands with Easyjet (journey time 2h 15mins at £166 each), took a short taxis journey (10 euros) to Faro train station and travelled down to Lagos (1h 45min at 6 euros each). The internet has details. The train journey is pleasant enough but very slow, stopping at every town along the Algarve. A taxi would have been approx. 80 euro's for a 45min trip. Marianne met us at the train station in Lagos and took us by car to the apartment. Having been to Lagos before the apartment was exactly where I wanted to stay. The apartment was great, clean, tidy, nice hot shower, sky news, eurosport, and some English movies. A two minute walk into the centre where there are numerous friendly bars and good quality restaurants. Internet cafe at the end of the road. It was about a 15/20 minute walk to the main Praia Maia beach; in peak season there is a small boat that takes you across the quay which cuts the journey down to 5/10 minutes. The beautiful beach on the town side of the quay was a 5/10 minute walk. A meal for two with drinks generally cost 40/60 euros, lager 2/3.5 euros, cocktails 6 euros. A night in Zanzibar is a must.
