Yonne holiday cottage: Serringy 89700

Our family of 2 adults, 2 young children and dog recently stayed at the Eastern Gatehouse at Chateau de Serrigny. The place was tastefully decorated, clean and well maintained. Our young children loved staying in the loft.There was even a little bed prepared for our 2 year old. She was thrilled. They also made sure there were lots of books to keep them occupied. The thing that struck us the most was the amazing hospitality Lesley and Paul showed us before, during and even after our stay. They were helpful in every way, responding to our every emails and queries before we arrived, and even helped us to arrange a vet appointment in the Loire Valley before we arrived because we could not communicate well in French. During our stay, Lesley was always making sure we were alright and had everything we needed. She and her boys took the time off and brought us wine tasting around Chablis and champagne tasting in Aube.They also made very good suggestions on what to do each day we were staying with them. After our vacation, we were touched that they contacted us to make sure that we had enjoyed our vacation and to make sure that everything went well with our dog's visit to the vet they had arranged. We cannot say enough wonderful things about them, and their 3 wonderful boys that we met, Angus, Harry and Charlie!
