This spacious and beautiful manor house is situated within its own private and secluded grounds. The property is situated on the edge of a quiet hamlet and is surrounded by meadows and woods. The 10m x 5m pool is positioned close to the house and benefits from the sun from early morning till dusk. There is a superb shaded outdoor dining area with seating for 10 and BBQ. The extensive garden is perfect for croquet and ball games. Ping pong, boules, books and board games are all on offer at the house. The interior of the house is spacious and light and has been renovated to a high standard. The stone-walled building retains many of its original features, including the vaulted cellars, parts of which date from the 11th Century. There is ample parking space on the property for several cars.

The house is situated on the northern edge of the Lot and close to the Dordogne. The Dordogne river is just 15 minutes drive away with good river swimming and canoeing. The closest supermarket, bakeries and restaurants are 5min away and wonderful local markets are just a 15min drive in Martel, Vayrac and Meyssac. Very close by are two of the famous 'Most Beautiful Villages of France': the hilltop village of Turenne which commands fantastic panoramic views towards the Massif Central, and Collonges-la-Rouge, the 'city of little castles' built entirely in red sandstone. The remarkable site of Rocamadour and the extraordinary Gouffre de Padirac are well worth visiting. Delicious and charming restaurants can be found throughout the area.
