Two delightful fully equipped gites in the beautiful Dordogne
The property, which is set in 34 acres of woodland and flower meadows is reached by a winding private country lane to where it nestles just below the nap of the hill. Originally a manoir built for the procurer of Louis XIV it has been sensitively restored to provide a high standard of comfort while retaining the charm and quirky character of the period. The gites will appeal to those seeking the calm and tranquility of the countryside but convenient to the many attractions of the Dordogne. Both gites are fully centrally heated for warm cosy out of season holidays.

A beautiful gite in a good location
rochet, Scottsdale Arizona USA
Review Submitted: December 02, 2007, Date of stay: October, 2007
This was a beautifully furnished and decorated gite in a very nice location. A car is necessary but it is an ideal out of the way location, not hard to get to and well located for many of the interesting sites in this area of the Dordogne region.
The owners are a delightful couple who are ready to help with recommendations and suggestions. Make sure you follow up on their suggestion of the excellent restaurant Le Petit Paris in the nearby village of Daglan. They also showed us the other gite on the property which was as beautiful and comfortable as the smaller one we rented. We also appreciated the English television channels not always available in similar locations.
I would recommend this property to anyone who is interested in a luxury getaway, a nice base for visiting the area. When we return to the area, we will try to stay here.
