The town house has been recently reformed to a very high standard maintain many original features. It has two double bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. It is a 5 minute walk from the clean white sandy beach of Las Arenas and a 10 minute metro ride from the beautiful historical centre. The newly regenerated port is a 5 minute walk away offering a wide variety of bars, shops and restaurants.

The house is located very close to the beach´s of Las Arenas and Malvarossa and the newly regenerated port which is currently hosting the Americas Cup. You must visit the City of Arts and Sciences complex which includes four buildings: L'Hemisferic is a Laserium, Planetarium and IMAX cinema, the Science Museum is one of those museums where it is forbidden not to touch, L' Oceanographic is a giant marine park or aquarium and the Palau de les Arts is an Opera House. The historical centre is very beautiful and be reached within 10 minutes. Here are a few of the many beautiful buildings to see. La Catedral, El Miguelete and Plaza de la Virgen ,Torres de Serranos, Plaza del Mercado: Lonja de la Seda, Santos Juanes and Mercado Central and Monasterio de San Miguel de los Reyes. In the city centre you will find the bohemian Bario El Carmen district where you will fine many lively bars and restaurants.

Excellent Holiday House

I have just returned home from a weeks stay at this Valencian house, and i have to say me and my friends were very please with this property. The house was spotless when we arrived. the bedrooms had plenty of wardrobe space for our clothes and the beds were comfortable and spacious.The house had a very comfortable sitting area down stairs, a very good kitchen with plent of utencils and crockery.

Whilst the other reviews have had a negative view on the shower, i personnally think that they are being a bit harsh, yes the shower cubicle is a bit on the small side, all i can say is; I don't see the problem it was plenty big enough to have a shower in.

The house is in an excellent location it was just over 5 mins walk to the beach. The tram stop Dr Lluch is literally round the corner so you can commute to the city by tram in about 10 mins. There is also a bus service that runs to the City, the bus stop was only a few minutes walk away.
There was some very nice cafe/bars in the immediate surrounding area of the house that served nice food at a very reasonable price, I would definitley recommend Don Cabanol which is located in the square a couple of streets behind the house.

I would definitley recommend this house to anyone thinking of visiting Valencia.
I would like to thank the owners for the use of their property.

Small Town House in typical Valencian Calle

Property was as described but do read the description carefully. Generally reasonable quality fittings but lacks some essential equipment for the longer stay (ironing board, scissors, air con, bedside lights or switch) and the shower is inadequate for normal sized human beings,there is no bath. Extremely well positioned for Beach/City/F1/Americas Cup........good travel facilities, buses at the end of the street, Metro 10mins away, Trams 10mins away, Fresh fruit/meat market 2mins walk, Street market Thursdays....oh and the TV didn't work, not that it was missed.

well located, but mould at the ceiling

In October our family stayed for two weeks at the appartment. The house is very well located: busses and metro nearby, 5 minutes walk to the beach, the interesting "ciudad de las artes y sciencias" not far away.
But one weekend we had rain. Travelling in October, rainy days are not that astonishing. But we had problems with the circumstance that the windows in the appartment didn't function as windows should do. Every rain meant water in the sleeping room in the first floor (!). Air inside the house was wet - at least there even were mould at the ceiling in the sleeping room (the owner really should proof the roof also).
The quality of the beds and the shower are very low standard. There aren't french beds as told in the description. They are uncomfortable and instabil. One of them even broke down! The shower is unbelievable narrow.
So our evaluation over the house is: it is very nice located, the interior and the kitchen devices are okay. The shower is terribly closely, the beds of bad quality and the mould at the ceiling not acceptable.
Owner's Response: In October last year there was torrential rain & flooding in Valencia which caused rain water to come through the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. This resulted in water staining to the ceiling rather than "mould". The roof has since been repaired and the house redecorated inside. Our apologies to this family, however we have little control over the weather.
The shower is small but is functional and can be clearly seen in the photograph, we are planning to build a larger shower tray.
The house is in a great location, close to the beach with easy acces to the city and the airport and most hollidaymakers have been very happy with their experience there.
