Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in an elevated position on the popular Club Albufeira resort. Fully equipped with all your holiday home-from-home essentials including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, Microwave, TV, DVD, Stereo and much more. On the first floor, the apartment has a large balcony, accessed from both the living room and master bedroom, and has full patio furniture for your holiday 'al-fresco' dining. This new small block of apartments is not overlooked and has an elevated position with open views over the complex and the countryside beyond. The two twin bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with ample wardrobe space. There are two full bathrooms, one is en-suite to the master bedroom. For the fifth and sixth guests there is a top quality, full sized double sofa bed. A foldaway bed is available for use in a bedroom if preferred (maximum occupancy 6).

The Club Albufeira resort is conveniently situated just a few minutes drive from both the Old town of Albufeira and the lively 'Strip' in Montechoro. Access to the old town is easy with a half-hourly bus service throughout the day and evening, right outside the entrance. The Club has a Reception with public telephones, internet access, ATM, and where guests can book taxis and day trips etc. On site facilities include 3 beautifully landscaped pool areas with plenty of sunbeds, and all with restaurant or snack bar plus toilets. There is a small shop for your fresh daily essentials and English newspapers, just a few strides from the apartment block, a play park for the children and crazy golf. Guests can also use the facilities of the camp site opposite with tennis courts, football pitch, supermarket, craft shop and more.

It has Air Conditioning in both bedrooms and the living room - the units double up as heaters making the apartment ideal for summer and winter guests alike. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to boil an egg, or prepare a gourmet meal - plus a dishwasher to take care of the washing up! There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, clothes airier, iron and ironing board. The living / dining room has comfortable seating and a full size dining table. A TV, DVD and Stereo are all provided for your use. Towels are provided for the apartment, please bring your own for the pool and beach.

Getting around: There is a bus service from the camp site opposite which runs half hourly throughout the day and evening. We can arrange Car Hire, either from Faro Airport or delivered to the Club, and although not a necessity, the complex is well placed in the centre of the Algarve, close to all road links, making many wonderful beaches and attractions within very easy reach. We recommend car hire for some of your stay to get the most out of your Algarve holiday.

Eating and drinking: Such an important factor in any holiday! Albufeira has a wide variety of international cuisine and Club Albufeira itself has 3 restaurants and a snack bar open daily throughout the year. There are also other snack bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment including a couple of family run Portuguese restaurants and the camp site restaurants which include a take-away, pizzeria, self service buffet and traditional restaurant. The two main on-site Club restaurants are the friendly O'Pavilhao which this caters for everything from breakfast, snacks, ice creams and full menu in the evening and the new restaurant Casa Azul which serves excellent Portuguese cuisine and snacks throughout the daytime and evening. The 3rd restaurant, by the largest pool, serves a large selection of snacks, lunch time barbequed fish in high season, pasta and pizzas. There is a weekly barbeque held on site throughout the summer with live entertainment.

We have just returned from a short break with two 14 year old girls. We could not fault anything from the apartment which is so well equipped and looked after to such a high standard, to the Clube itself. The girls were able to come and go as these please in a safe environment including using the bus service back from the beach.

We ate in several excellent local restaurants includingCais Velho, A Grelha do Tio Manel (in Gale so does require a taxi trip or car - worth the effort for fish lvoers) and Churrasquei da Beira. Clube Nautico was recommended for seafood, sadly we did not have enough evenings.

We recommend his property to anyone, Mel and Duncan provided an excellent service.

Wonderful Family Holiday 2009

The apartment was as described in the advert and had lovely views and a quiet location, Very well equipped and well maintained and only a 5 min walk to any of the three pools and the local shop. The en-suite was a godsend with two children (16 yrs and 11yrs ) and Mel changed towels and bedding regularly. Transfers to and from the airport were arranged by Mel and again were excellent

All the pool area's are very well maintained and child friendly with snack bars etc.

Mini bus to the old town available for 1 euro per person, or local taxis 4-5 euros. We used this most evenings.

The Casa Azul ( Blue Restaurant) was excellent - would highly recommend, the food was traditional and reasonably priced and very friendly - we ventured their twice.

We came to Albuferia five years ago and not a lot has changed - the old town is still very appealing, a lot of choice of restaurants/bars. Would recommend the Mexican near the Fisherman's beach.

We did hire a car as hubbie and son were golfing during our stay, but not really essential, unless you want to venture further afield, as the complex is ideal for a relaxing holiday.

We would recommend this apartment and complex and would be very happy to return in the future.

Excellent property - exactly as advertised. Mel was very good at communicating and extremely helpful. The property is in a good position in the complex with all the main features within 5 minutes walk. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would recommend a hire car but there is a good bus service to and from the old town and the 'strip'. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who likes to be somewhere a bit quieter but also likes the opportunity to go 'out on the town', so to speak!!

Excellent!!!!!

We had a great time in Mel's apartment and the complex generally. The accomodation was superb - equipped with everything we needed. Mel was very helpful. Very relaxing holiday. We would particularly recommend Casa Azur with its pool and and cafe/bar.

We will always have fond memories of this holiday and might very well return next year.

Great apartment

The apartment was as expected extremely clean, comfortable and spacious and well equipped with all mod cons.
It is is in a quiet setting within a 3-5 minute walk from 3 pools, all set in pleasant well maintained gardens. Club Albufeira is ideal for a quiet relaxing break although the lively old town of Albufeira is close by and easily accessible. There are plenty of good quality bars and restaurants or more quaint traditional bars on the outskirts. Definately something to suit everyone. We did hire a car to explore a little further afield, this was beneficial but not essential as public transport was good.
For the more energetic, if you fancy a game of tennis at the nearby campsite, do take your rackets as these are not available to hire.
On the whole a great holiday. Melanie was very helpful and professional and ensured that everything went smoothly. We would certainly return again and recommend the apartment in the future.
