A spacious detached beamed cottage dating back to the 1800s, recreated by the present artistic owners, offers 360-degree breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The house has two wood-burning stoves and a beautiful oak staircase with a minstrels gallery. Extensive gardens with plenty of space for outdoor activities. Take time out to explore the beautiful 8 acres of grounds and lake around the cottage. large farmhouse-style, beamed kitchen with oil fueled Aga (for cooking), two butler sinks and wooden floor. Spacious beamed living room with large wood-burning stove, oak floor and five sets of French doors leading to terrace. Spacious dining-room with ornamental fireplace in hearth and views of garden. Two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room/WC. Separate WC. Open tread oak staircase leads through minstrels gallery to first floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed and double sofa bed. Further double bedroom with 6ft bed and bathroom/WC.

Visit Batemans, home to the author Rudyard Kipling (N.T.) Further afield find Royal Tunbridge Wells and the Chalybeate Spring at 15 miles. Several gardens including Sheffield Park, Wakehurst Place and Merrimans are a short drive away. There are good connections to London from Etchingham Station, 3 miles, an opportunity to take in a show and explore the sites of the capital. Pub and restaurant 2 miles. Just 15 miles from the historic city of Hastings with the beach and various other attractions.
