Casa Cattani is within easy striking distance of the major centres in Tuscany (Cortona, Siena, Florence), and also of the ancient hill towns and cities of Umbria (Perugia, Orvieto). Perugia is renowned for its annual international jazz festival - Umbria Jazz - held every July. Lake Trasimeno, famed for its beaches, its sailing, and its artisanal lace-making on its islands, is only 10km away. Etruscan ruins and archaeological sites abound, and can be easily seen and visited in Cortona, Perugia and Orvieto.
