Lovely 2nd floor apartment on the prestigious La Torre Polaris World Resort; part of the Jack Nicklaus Golf trail. Well equipped and furnished to a high standard, the apartment occupies an enviable location overlooking a large pool, the golf course and the mountains. The apartment sleeps up to 4-5 people, and accommodation comprises: 2 bedrooms (1 with access to main balcony which enjoys sun in the evening), 1 bathroom which has both a shower and a bath, living area, dining area and kitchen which is fully equipped. A fine feature of the apartment is the large balcony to the front, which has a table and six chairs with wonderful views. The apartment is air conditioned and heated, and has a LCD TV & DVD player and has private underground parking for 1 car. La Torre currently has a good supermarket, pharmacy, tennis courts, several communal pools and of course the excellent golf course together with driving range and practice area. The superb Club House has a restaurant and bars.

La Torre Golf Resort is a Polaris World development near Torre Pacheco in the Murcia region of South East Spain. The resort is approximately 15 minutes from Murcia City and 10 minutes from the beaches of the Mar Menor. Murcia airport is only a 15 minute drive away with daily flights from the UK and Alicante airport is only 40 minutes away. At the heart of La Torre you will find a spectacular Water Side Village where there will be many bars and restaurants and extensive leisure facilities.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A cleaning charge of 65 Euros per rental applies payable directly to the cleaner. A SECURITY DEPOSIT OF £100 per rental is required. Final payment 6 weeks prior to commencement of stay. Security deposit returned 14 days after departure providing no damage or losses to/from the property. The property is professionally cleaned between each let and after 14 days at extra cost for longer stays. Extra services include arrival food packs, additional cleaning services etc. You ask we try to please/provide.
    All bed linen and towels are provided (but not beach towels). The apartment is well supplied also with crockery/cutlery etc. Hot water is always available. Children are welcome but the property is strictly no smoking. Long lets may be possible on request.

La Torre Resort is situated on the main link between San Javier ( Murcia Airport) and Murcia. The luxury Resort boasts a superb golf course and just a few minutes drive from numerous beaches and regions golf courses. The lovely cities of Cartegena and Murcia are within 30 minutes drive. Whilst beaches, and numerous tourist locations are in close proximity guests may will choose just to relax with in the Resort. For golfers the other Polaris World golf courses and facilities (from summer 2007 - 3 Resorts) are within a few minutes drive. Within a few minutes drive there are numerous bars, Restaurants, banks and shops/supermarkets. Activities for children are also available.

Golf: The are numerous golf courses within 30 minutes drive of the property, including the Resort. Golf can be pre-booked at preferential rates for residents. Tution is also available for beginners and experienced golfers on La Torre Resort. The impressive services on offer at La Torre are: 1. Fantastic Driving Range 2. Pro-shop 3. Modern changing rooms 4. Club house decorated in a traditional Mediterranean style. 5. Encina (a restaurant situated in the Golf Club) offers a wide variety of excellent food.

The pictures and description of this property just don't do it justice! It's clean, nicely furnished throughout with pretty much everything you would need for a holiday, including plenty of storage space.

There are 3 swimming pools within a couple of minutes walk - one of which is perfect for young children.

The town centre / clubhouse are within easy reach, but far enough away to not disturb you if you want a peaceful evening. The only downside with the restaurants is remembering that you really need to book for the evenings!

One of the nicest parts of the property is the balcony - superb views over the golf course and across to the town centre. It is shady during the day, but benefits from evening sun, with the bonus of the great sunsets!

Although we didn't have a car, it would be advisable to get one for the duration of the stay - the on-site supermarket is a good 10 minute walk (not so much fun when carrying numerous bottles of good value wine!).

Communication with the owner was very straightforward, and I would definitely look to stay here again when going to Murcia!
