This self catering apartment is set within a secure private complex called Vila da Praia. The Vila da Praia complex is in an excellent location 300 metres from the beach, 5min walk to Alvor centre so no Taxis are required on your night out!. Its location provides easy access to a number of top golf courses one which is only 3km away. The complex has a lovely garden area, which surrounds the 2 swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. Accommodation consists of one double bedroom, a bathroom, a living room area which has a dining table for 6 and a sitting areas that has 2 sofas 1 converts into comfortable double bed. A fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons and a Terrace with Morning & evening sun in the summer on the grass area in front of the Terrace perfect for a quiet drink, relaxing ready a book or just taking the sun. Cleaning/laundry provided weekly.

Alvor is a small fishing village, 5km from Portimao and 45min drive from Faro airport. Alvor has a beautiful stretch of sandy beach 4.5km long. The beach is safe & clean, with some beautiful sheltered swimming areas and great facilities for eating and having a few drinks. Alvor has traditional cottages, cobbled streets, and picturesque harbour area with amazing sunsets all of this adds to Alvor unique charm. The Village has an excellent selection selection of restaurants with a wide variety of choice and the standard of food and service is very high. The bars are varied, with a good choice of live music. Alvor has facilities for tennis, windsurfing, and golfers are well catered for. Children will also be entertained at the numerous theme parks and water parks, at slide & splash, zoo marine and the agave shopping centre.

Alvor - Vila da Praia: The Algarve has a temperature climate almost all year round and boasts about 300 days of sunshine. Tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quietens down in winter. The wonderful sandy beaches of the Algarve are unspoilt and amongst the best in the world.

Local Food & Drink: Local Food & Drink The local food just has to be tried, with fresh fish straight from the mornings catch. Most restaurants have charcoal grills, producing some of the best food of the region. There is also a good selection of Italian & Pizza restaurants, Chinese Indian's and good Steak Houses. A lot of the bars have live music. There are also quieter bars for those who prefer the sound of good conversation.

Shopping: Shopping Typical tourist Shops in Alvor, For A good days shopping go to the Algarve shopping center open 10.00 - 22.00 in the winter and till Midnight in the summer. There are plenty of shops and food eatery/restaurants. Other Activities Eating & Drinking
