The apartment is situated at Senglea Point on the sea front. Senglea is one of the three old cities in The Grand Harbour and build by the Knights of St.John's of Jerusalem.Once the proud base for the British Navy, to day Grand Harbour is a thriving Cruice ship Harbour and Yacht Marina. Senglea has charming narrow streets and lots of steps. Senglea Point is very favoured by local swimmers. The sea front has nice restaurants and cafes and you find local shops as small supermarkets, butchers, green grocers and news agents.The local busses take you directly to Marsa Sports club for golf or tennis or into the capital Valletta for a bit of shopping, or you can take the bus to south of the Island to a beach.

Senglea Point has a rocky beach which is very favoured by local swimmers. The three cities are Vittoriosa ( Birgu ) Senglea ( Isla ) and Cospicua ( Bormla ) one of the early settlements in Malta. Famous for the Siege in 1565 On Senglea seafront you find nice cafes and restaurants and you have small supermarkets, butchers, green grocers and news agents. The local buses take you to Marsa Sports club for golf, tennis, a splash in the pool or in to Valletta for a bit of shopping. Or take the bus in the other direction, south on the Island to Marsascala.

Home description: Top floor apartment with 3 balconies and panoramic seaview. The lift takes you straight into the apartment, which has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (One en-suite ) Fully air conditioned. Newly decorated with new kitchen and bathrooms with all white suites. You can sit on one of the balconies and watch all activities in the harbour, from arrival of the big cruise liners turning around inside the harbour, small water planes taking off, quite fascinating. Take a water-taxi over to Valletta or Vittoriosa or go fishing on the seafront. The rocky beach at Senglea Point is very favoured by local swimmers or families with children if you want a dip in the sea. Lunchtime or evening you can go for a stroll along the seafront for a meal, there are plenty of small restaurants

How to get there: You can fly daily to Malta International Airport. Just 3 hours from the UK There are several airlines flying in from different airports. Schedule flights with British Airways and Air Malta from Heathrow or Gatwick, you can also have several budget airlines as Air Malta from Stansted, Manchester, Bristol and Exeter. Easy Jet fly from Gatwick and and Ryan Air fly out of Luton. When you arrive at the airport you and your party will be collected and taken to the apartment free of charge.

What a wonderful apartment and what a wonderful location. ideally located to view Valetta harbour watching the cruise ships enter and the seaplanes landing. catch the number 3 bus into valetta and then catch buses to anywhere on the island.Bjorn met us at the airport and ensured we got to the apartment safe and sound and then showed us around the lovely apartment. which contains everything. a brilliant home from home.
definately would go back again.

I booked to come along with my girlfriend and several friends to celebrate a birthday and had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

The apartment was lovely and exactly as I imagined from the description and photos, along with several lovely touches including a map of the local area on the wall with several local shops highlighted, which helped us get our bearings and relax really quickly.

The owner was very helpful all the way through and the organised taxi journey from the airport is such a nice touch to avoid all the usual issues when first arriving somewhere new.

The local area is lovely with several nice restaurants and a casino across the bay and we thoroughly enjoyed it - thanks for the experience and all the help along the way.

October Visit to Malta - Awesome Penthouse Apt.

This property provided a fantastic place for six friends to visit Malta. Everything we needed, including local food and pastries, were within a short walk. The apartment is very large with great views of Valetta. It has a large kitchen and dining room in addition to a huge living room and great bedrooms. The location over the harbor makes for a great mediterranean experience.

Myelf and my husband I stayed here for week in September and we enjoyed it so much we have booked for two weeks next year. We would highly recommend the apartment and Ada and Bjon do everyhing to ensure your stay is a pleasent one, we were picked up from the airport, they organised our taxi on our return to the airport and Ada did some shopping for us, which was one last thing to worry about. Especially as it was our fuirst time in Malta. It has fantastic views and is excellently situated to explore the island on the local transport, one bus to Valetta and then a bus to anywhere for 47cent. The apartment is very spacious and confortable with all you need. A short walk from some excellent restuants on the harbour side especially the Marine Resturant. Ideally situated for a quite holiday, a sightseeing holiday or just to chill out with a beer on the harbour watching the boats. Highly recommeded.
