This 2nd floor 1 bedroom apartment is situated in a fabulous position overlooking Rue de la Republique, the main pedestrian street of the Old Town. In the evenings enjoy a pre dinner wine with local nibbles while watching the world go by from the balcony, it's better than TV! And try to resist the goodies from the 'Boulangerie' directly opposite for breakfast. It's a minute walk to 2 local supermarkets and a couple of minutes to the Provencal Market, less than 10 minutes to a choice of 2 beaches. On entry to the apartment you come to the spacious living area with access to the balcony with table & chairs, free wifi internet, Cable TV & DVD. To the left the bedroom with en-suite bathroom, bath, shower & washing machin. To the right the fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher. There is a portable air-con. unit. Tastefully decorated & has lovely beamed ceilings. This is a lovely light & airy apartment in a perfect position to spend a very happy holiday. Sister apartments: 69914 & 406770.

Antibes is known for its yacht marina, the largest in Europe, with its International Quay, which is home to some of the biggest ’Megayachts’ in the World, its Provencal market, Picasso museum and medieval Ramparts. It has its own sheltered, sandy beach, and is within walking distance to several others. The Provencal fresh produce market runs every day in the summer and is not to be missed. In the evenings it turns into an outdoor restaurant scene, sharing the space with local artists’ stalls. Just behind the market is Antibes’s Cathedral, the setting for outdoor concerts in the summer months. The Old Town is full of lovely cobbled shopping streets, pavement cafes and countless restaurants to choose from. Thursdays is market day in the Old Town with thousands of stalls spread all over, selling anything from bikinis to carpets. On Saturdays, Place National is the setting for an Antiques market. Nearby Juan-les-Pins is a major holiday destination, with a casino & private beaches.

  • A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payment to be made by bank transfer in euros, note that this could incur a charge, to be met by sender, by French cheque or with a debit/credit card using PayPal.. There is a 50 euro cleaning/laundry fee payable in cash on departure .Towels and linens are provided including beach towels. On arrival you will be met at the apartment, and given a set of keys. The security and key deposit of 200 euros (or equivalent in pounds) will be collected in cash at this time, to be returned on departure less the 50 euros for cleaning.
    Please note that check ins after 9pm. can not be facilitated.

This apartment is terrific, it lives up to the description & was spotlessly clean & the location is excellent, great rerstaurants just a few steps away from the front door & the beach an easy walk away, no need for a car here.
Michelle was really helpful & made us feel very welcome.
We've had many holidays in & around Antibes but this rates as the best apartment we have found, we felt so comfortable there we didn't want to come home.

A little gem

I am a bit reluctant to review this apt.because I want to keep this place a secret.Spent a week in sept.2009 in Antibes, it is a great apt. in a great location, plenty of room and spotlessly clean, with a small balcony to sit out and watch the world go by.Will be back.

Great Location, very nice apartment

We stayed here for a week in August 09 - the apartment is perfect for a couple but would be a squeeze for 4 people. It was presented in very good condition - clean, well appointed, newly decorated and the owner was very welcoming. Working cable TV and wireless internet.

Located in the old town, the apartment is very well situated for restaurants, beaches and all transport links. Cannes, Nice, Juan les Pins and lots of other great spots on the cote d'azur are just a few minutes away by train or bus. Public and private beaches in Antibes are less than a 10 minute walk.

On the negative side, the balcony is a little on the small size to be used for meals, etc. but why would you eat in when there are so many great restaurants in Antibes!

Recommended for couples.

Being a 1 bedroom apartment it is ideal for 2, but I think it's nice to have a sofa-bed to give people the option...but balcony dining is only for 2. If there are more of you there is the extendable dining table in the living area which easiliy seats 4.

Great week in Old Antibes

This appartment lives up to its description very well. It is extremely well appointed and in a really convenient location for all the things anyone might want to do in Antibes (which is a wonderful old town, if you don't know it!)
Light and airy, with a small balcony that allows for al-fresco dining (for 2!), the appartment offers a chance to experience breakfast from the boulengerie just over the road, and easy meals form the charcuterie just down the road. Or, if you feel lazy, step out for breakfast in any number of cafes just minutes from the front door.
If you want to live in e heart of a picturesque old town, this appartment will suit you very well.
There are many shops withing easy walking distance, as well as three supermarkets.
The local bus terminus is just round the corner, and the buses are easy to use and cheap!
Michelle, the owner, has left a very helpful and informative folder of guest information.
This is an appartment we will be very happy to return to in years to come.
