Spacious two-bedroom, self-catering unit (sleeps 4-6) with sea views, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 4-plate gas hob with electric stove, microwave with grill and large capacity fridge/freezer. Open-plan lounge/dining room with satellite TV and DVD flows onto large hardwood deck at one end with sweeping views of the valley across to the ocean. The kitchen side of the dining/lounge area opens onto a wind-protected patio with large BBQ and patio furniture, surrounded by indigenous plants. Rooms have king or twin beds, one has en-suite shower-room and the other has separate bathroom with shower over bath. One room is 'family-sized' with double sofa-bed (ideal for children). Bathsheets, hand towels and bed-linen are provided (please bring your own beach/pool towels). Serviced twice weekly (major clean-up and towel/ linen-change). Secure parking with automatic gate and independent alarm. Next door to the pool and laundry. Twice-weekly service included, daily service on request.

A breakage deposit of between R500 and R1500 may be required on arrival (this will be authorised against your credit card and you will sign authorisation, but it will only be debited in the event of damages to be paid).

The rental rates shown are for up to four persons; up to two extras can be accommodated on a sofa-bed - a rate of R50 per extra per night is payable. There is no charge for children under the age of 2.

| Notes: | A fully equipped laundry with top-loader and dryer is next to the unit. The pool and laundry area is used by all 4 units in the building. Satellite TV is limited to a commercial package of programmes including all local channels, 3 movie channels, 3 sports channels (all major events are covered), BBC World, Discovery, Cartoon Network and a few others. Heating is provided in winter, and a fan in the summer months. Air-conditioning is not a necessity in Cape Town's mild climate. |
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations less than one month ahead of the arrival date are liable for 100% of the booking value. Cancellations one to two months ahead of the arrival date forfeit 100% of the deposit amount. Cancellations made within one month of arrival may be reimbursed in part for those days taken up by new bookings (at the discretion of the management), but otherwise forfeit the whole amount. Shortened stays are payable in full. A 50% deposit is payable to confirm a reservation. The balance on is due one month ahead of arrival (or on booking if less than one month before occupation). A breakage deposit of R500 to R1500 is payable on arrival for self-catering apartments. Payment on self-catering bookings of more than three days should be paid by inter-bank transfer. Other bookings may be settled by credit card, if preferred. International bank transfers should be made in South African Rand (we reserve the right to recover any costs levied to our account).
Directions
From Cape Town International Airport, follow N2 towards central Cape Town. Turn left onto M3 to ‘Muizenberg’ and/or 'Kirstenbosch'/'Rhodes Drive'. Follow to end (10-15 mins). From end of M3 go left towards Muizenberg. Take main road along coast, through Muizenberg and Kalk Bay. Boyes Drive offers a scenic alternative - from end of Boyes Drive turn right. Take turning into Clovelly Road (signposted 'Clovelly') opposite beach, after Kalk Bay (before Fish Hoek). Take first left into Montrose Avenue. We are on the right at the end - Number 40. From Central Cape Town, take the M3 or N2 out of town and follow the M3 towards Muizenberg. From the end of the M3, follow directions as from the Airport (above). By train, go to either Kalk Bay or Fish Hoek (on the southern line). From Kalk Bay walk towards Fish Hoek, turning right into Clovelly Rd (then follow the directions above). From Fish Hoek station, walk towards Kalk Bay and turn left info Clovelly Rd (then follow directions above).
Other info
Sadly we are unable to accommodate pets of any kind, whatever their lifestyle. We can, however, recommend a local catery, kennel or stable for your animal. Please arrange a check-in time with us before arrival (or we can’t guarantee someone will be available to welcome you). Please discuss any disability requirements with us before you book as not all units have wheelchair accessibility and none are specially equipped for people with disabilities. All apartments/rooms are non-smoking. Smokers are welcome to puff outside, with due consideration for the comfort of other guests (a deodorising fee of up to R1000 may be charged if smokers insist on smoking indoors). Well-supervised children are very welcome - special care should be taken to supervise children using the pool. We are happy to help with car hire arrangements and route planning, and can provide you with plenty of info on tours and attractions.

Golf Information:
Clovelly Lodge is close to three gold rated 18-hole golf courses. Clovelly Country Club is on your doorstep and has trolleys, carts, caddies and club hire as well as a pub and light restaurant. Green fees are R450 for non-affiliated players and R295 for affiliated. Course rating: M70 W71. Westlake course is a 10 minute drive (at the other end of Boyes Drive, a scenic route) with practice range, club hire, carts, trolleys and caddies. Green fees are R390 for non-affiliated players and R225 for affiliated. Course rating: M71 W71. Steenberg has driving range, club hire, carts, trolleys and caddies (plus a 5 star hotel and restaurant). Green fees are R550 to R600 for non-affiliated, R395 for affiliated and R330 - R350 for hotel residents. Simon's Town is a short, blue rated course 10km from Clovelly. Fees are R50 to R70 and trolleys and club hire are available.
