The house is located in the center of the ancient medieval village of Castelmuzio and in the heart of the Siena countryside, from which there is one of the most beautiful views over the hills of Pienza and over the famous abbey 'Sant'Anna in Camprena', where took place the film 'The English Patient'. The house, recently restructured, maintains the original Tuscan architecture, the brickwork floors, and antiquarian furniture. The two-storied building is composed of: a nice living room from which it can be possible admire Monte Amiata and val d'Orcia, three pleasant rooms with double-beds made of wrought iron, one spacious bathroom, and a kitchen with every kind of comfort.Ideal for families and groups, that want to spent their holidays in a silent and peaceful medieval village, coming into contact with the uncontaminated nature.

Great Tuscan Escape

When we arrived at the apartment we were met by the owners and assisted into the unit and given information on the apartment and surrounds. They even provided some home cooked items of hospitality. They're assistance even to contacting our daughter who was also travelling in Italy and arriving 4 days later was above what could be expected. The apartment itself was fabulous with all our needs catered for and very clean. The upstairs loungeroom was a great childrens retreat. We loved the Tuscan view from the windows and there is a lovely seat at the end of the street to relax and take in the whole Tuscan atmosphere. This is a lovely small Tuscan village and the apartment is located a few metres from the centre square with a good coffee shop/ cafe/ bar. Mirko was great to deal with. I would recommend this roomy holiday house to anyone looking to experience a small Tuscan village which is conveniently located.

This house is fabulous. The views from the upper floor are breathtaking. There is every facility required for a relaxed holiday. The owners could not be more helpful. they helped us carry our luggage to the house and even went to he trouble of finding us a CD player as there wasn't one when we arrived.
The house is in the centre of this small hilltop village, but there's everything you need at the super cafe/resturant just 10 steps from the door.
I would reccomend Casa Di Castello to anyone.
