If you do not choose to rent our castle on a self catering basis our qualified staff are fluent in English and French and have extensive experience in luxury world travel, catering and event planning to make your stay memorable.

Directions to the Castle

By Road: it is very easy via the Autoroutes A13 ( from Paris ) and A29 ( Northern France ). Central Paris to the castle by car takes 90 minutes. By Air : close by via the local Beauvais ( low cost Ryan Air flights ) , Rouen, Le Havre and Dieppe, Paris international airports and two local private airfields that can accept small private planes .You can even arrive via helicopter and land directly on the castle back lawn ! By Train : is very easy too : via Eurostar from London to Lille or Paris with a connection. The castle is only 80 minutes from Paris via Paris Gare St Lazare and hourly trains and we can arrange to collect you at our local train station which is only 12 minutes from the castle. By Cross Channel Ferry from the U.K.: via the close channel ports of Calais ( 90 mins ), Dieppe (35 mins ) and Le Havre (35 mins ) - n.b. we can supply very detailed info on the exact routes to take to reach the castle - please ask.

Activities at The Castle :

We are proud of the variety of activities offered to our guests at the castle and we know from experience that nobody ever gets bored here ! The very easiest thing to at the castle is to relax (rest and recuperation). Walk in the castle gardens, woods and parks. Cross country running, walking, jogging. Read from our extensive library. Play card and board games. Casino games on blackjack, crap, roulette tables! Play table tennis, badminton, volleyball, croquet, cricket, tennis, Swim in the small outdoor swimming-pool ( during the summer ! ) bike riding (for a small daily charge). Play “Pétanque” (the traditional French boule game). Astronomy / star gazing with our pro telescope ( due to the proximity to the coast, clear countryside setting and lack of pollution this makes the clear night sky fascinatingly beautiful and shooting stars a regular occurrence). Hot air ballooning ! Treasure hunting with our own pro metal detectors !

Catering :

For those guests who wish to book on a catered basis we offer sophisticated and gourmet cuisine in a refined atmosphere. We offer organic / bio food from local suppliers who thrive to only market the best authentic products. For those guests requiring self catering there are plenty of local supermarkets and village markets available.

Golf Information:

Normandy, a land steeped in art and history, is blessed with the geography and climate of a golfer's paradise. Of 37 diverse courses which are open year round, 23 have 18 holes or more. In addition to the more prestigious courses and those of international repute are courses accompanied by other amenities, such as for example, a château, sport and fitness centers, seminar facilities... and include coastal golfs and natural courses. We will be delighted to send to you practical information on the courses, such as how to find them, when and to whom they are open, as well as details on the clubhouse and suggestions for equipment purchases and other sporting activities in the locality.
