Located behind Isdabe beach, Hacienda del Sol is a newly built, secure, well-maintained community of low rise (3 floor) apartments, tastefully constructed in Moorish style. Each area of the community is set amidst beautiful landscaped gardens including lawns and mature palms. Each area has its own superb pool with plenty of loungers. Adjacent to each pool is a gated childrens pool. There are also two 'paddle tennis' courts, a gym and sauna. The large sandy beach is just 200 metres away, accessed via a landscaped path, has the prestigious 'Blue Flag' status, and two beach bars with views of Gibraltar and north Africa. Adjacent to the beach is a nature reserve and small children's playground. This first-floor luxury apartment is fitted with marble floors throughout, satellite TV, two luxury bathrooms, air con, a well equipped kitchen, separate laundry area, and 15m2 SW-facing patio.

Hacienda del Sol is located near the attractive town of San Pedro de Alcántara, 70km from Málaga. San Pedro is midway between Marbella and Estepona. The immediate surroundings are very pleasant, particularly compared with the more built-up areas of the Costa del Sol towards Málaga. Hacienda del Sol is situated close to two exclusive resort hotels – the Marriot and Crowne Plaza – which means that the beach and immediate surroundings are very well maintained. Within 10 minutes walking distance are several local bars, restaurants, shops/supermarkets, and banks. There is a bus stop within 10 minutes walk, providing a bus service every 20 minutes to Puerto Banús and Marbella (going east) and Estepona (going west). A car is therefore not essential. The nearest major town is Estepona, an active fishing port, which has a charming old quarter with cobbled streets, independent shops, a long beach-side promenade, and a distinctly Spanish feel.

The patio faces south-west, creating a wonderful sun trap from mid-morning until sunset. There are also plenty of loungers located around the pool. Although we provide towels for use in the apartment, please bring your own pool/beach towels. There is underground car parking, and a lift direct from the car park to the apartment.
