Stunning development and pools, great location

Now recognised as one of the very best complexes on the Costa del Sol for a relaxing holiday, Hacienda del Sol is a newly built, secure, beautifully-maintained community of low rise (3 floor) apartments, tastefully constructed in Moorish style. Each area of the community is set amidst beautiful landscaped gardens including lawns and mature palms. Each area has its own superb pool with plenty of loungers, plus a gated children's pool. There are also two 'paddle tennis' courts, a gym, sauna, and ping-pong. The large sandy beach, just 200 metres away, has the prestigious 'Blue Flag' status, and two beach bars with views of Gibraltar and north Africa. Adjacent to the beach is a nature reserve and small children's playground. This first-floor luxury apartment is fitted with marble floors throughout, satellite TV, free WiFi, two luxury bathrooms, air con, a well equipped kitchen with marble worktops, separate laundry area, and 15m2 SW-facing patio. Hacienda del Sol is located near the attractive town of San Pedro de Alcántara, 70km from Málaga, midway between Marbella and Estepona. The immediate surroundings are very pleasant, particularly compared with the more built-up areas of the Costa del Sol towards Málaga. Hacienda del Sol is situated close to two exclusive resort hotels – the Marriot and Crowne Plaza – which means that the beach and immediate surroundings are very well maintained. Within 10 minutes walking distance are several local bars, restaurants, shops/supermarkets, and banks. There is a bus stop within 10 minutes walk, providing a bus service every 20 minutes to Puerto Banús and Marbella (going east) and Estepona (going west). A car is therefore not essential. The nearest major town is Estepona, an active fishing port, which has a charming old quarter with cobbled streets, independent shops, a long beach-side promenade, and a distinctly Spanish feel.

We Love Hacienda del Sol

This is a great two bedroom flat in a first class complex with 6 pools, (including kids pool in each), in the heart of Marbella's 'Golden Mile'. Close to the beach, supermarkets and great restaurants this is an excellent location. Whether you want to take the kids to Selwo Marina or Selwo Adventure or explore the beautiful villages of Andalusia this is a fantastic base. Beverely the agent could not have been more helpful and the flat was fully equipped with everything we needed.

VERY NICE APARTMENT

The apartment is nicely located and very well equipped. Apartment was clean and tidy and the local rep extremely helpful. Owners were also very friendly and accommodating and dealt with our booking efficiently and returned our deposit within 2 days.
Excellent pool and safe for young children.
Although beachside the local beach itself is not that great although it is only a short drive to some better beaches. Conveniently located to visit Puerto Banus, Marbella and Estepona and further inland Ronda and Benahavis all of which are well worth a visit.
A car is not strictly necessary (if not touring) as there are some good bars, restaurants, a supermarket annd bank within 10-15mins walk and a reasonable bus service.
I would certainly recommend to others.

Fabulous appartment

Having trawled many websites and read copious reviews I finally plumped for this appartment and was not disappointed. The descripion given by the owners was very accurate but didnt convey just how relaxing and well kept the complex is.
The appartment itself was spotless and had every facility you could possibly need. Overlooked the lovely pool and gardens. Hired car and directions given were easy to follow and we were met on arrival by agent who was very welcoming and had supplied a bread milk and water to help us get settled in.
Owner was prompt in returning the refundable deposit and was easily contactable by email.
Would have no hesitation in recommending the appartment to anyone.

Fantastic!

Complex is one of the best I've stayed in in this part of Spain. Apartment has great view over pool and gardens and terrace gets sun from mid-morning until late afternoon, which is great for eating outside and relaxing with a drink.

Interior of apartment was immaculate and of a very high standard. It has everything you need for a luxury break.

To top it off the level of service was second to none which meant I had a stress free holiday from start to finish. Highly recommend.
