This beautifully renovated apartment is located 2 minutes walk from Princes Street and is within walking distance to the Castle, Royal Mile, Theatre, Art Galleries, restaurants and bars. Built in 1850, it has a spacious open plan living-room/kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, and bathroom with shower. There is a fashionably decorated large, open plan lounge overlooking William Street, with working Georgian shutters and a 30-channel flat screen digital TV/DVD, Hi-Fi/CD player. The kitchen has all the equipment you would expect - dining table to sit 6 people, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, toaster, washing-machine, dish-washer, toaster and kettle. The 2 bedrooms are flexible and can have 2 king-size beds or 4 single beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with a hairdryer and radio alarm. A cot, fold-down bed and high chair are provided if required. The bathroom has an electric shower and is tiled. Towels, linen, electricity, gas and broadband wifi are included in the price.

This apartment is located in one of the quaintest streets in Edinburgh’s New Town. The street itself has a number of boutique designer shops as well as a famous Scottish restaurant (A Room in the West End). Walk round the corner to Princes Street to see the Castle, enjoy the shopping, or walk 10 minutes to reach the famous ‘Old Town’ and the Royal Mile. There is parking outside the apartment. If you would like to enjoy some scenery within the city, the ‘Water of Leith’ walkway provides access to the Modern Art Galleries, or to visit the Botanical Gardens. All that Edinburgh has to offer is within easy reach – there are golf courses only a 15 minute bus ride away. The famous St Andrews; home of golf can be reached by the nearby train station, or the beautiful fishing villages of Crail, Pittenweem and Anstruther. Edinburgh is a small city, and Scotland is a small country – but the best small country in the world!

Great spot, lovely place to rest!

We came in October for a visit with the children (10 & 8) and had a super week. We did all the tourist bits and this appartment is so easy to get to everywhere yet, despite having 2 pubs across the road and one opposite was a quite retreat after our long days. The stairway is dark, but we kind of like it!!
The appartment is lovely and clean and cosy.
Omly problem no were to leave the car, but you don't need it so fly up.

Nice and clean apartment. Well equipped. Central location. Ugly and dark entrance and stairway. Poor TV-signal. Beautiful and interesting city. Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing. Recommended.
