You will find this a great location to enjoy and explore Biarritz all year round. Our charming first-floor studio flat is in a period building in a central sea-front square. The flat sleeps 2-4 in a twin-bedded alcove and double sofa-bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen area, dining area and separate bathroom with shower, WC, and washing machine. Leave the car at home or in the underground car park in the Square. Biarritz airport (Ryanair) is a short bus-ride away. Everything you would want is within easy walking distance from the flat, including surfing and bathing beaches. Biarritz is a Basque town and the Basques love food. For self-catering there are excellent fish and food markets five minutes away and very good restaurants nearby. There are good road and rail connections to nearby Bayonne, the Pyrenees, attractive villages, countryside and towns in the Basque area and over the border to Spain. San Sebastian is an hour away, Bilbao and the Guggenheim a bit further.

Biarritz is situated on the Atlantic coast near Spain. Once a fishing village, it grew into a fashionable seaside town after Princess Eugenie built her palace there. Now known for its extensive beaches and surfing, It has retained its charm and walks and glorious sea-views. Restaurants and cafes and a wonderful market testify to its interest in food. It is close to Bayonne, an attractive and lively Basque town, and an hour from San Sebastian in Spain. Bilbao and the Guggenheim are also a few hours away. The Pyrenees come down to the sea at Biarritz - the Basque countryside with its hills and villages is green and good for walking and sightseeing.

A very nice flat, very well situated, everything was near; the sea, reataurants, shops, the market hall, where you can get fantastic sea food,meat, vedgetables etc.
The flat was bigger than we expected,very cosy and clean. Thre was everything we needed. The owner was very nice and friendly- the service was excellent!!!!
We have already told to our friends about this beautifull flat and we warmly recommend it to everybody.

This is a fantastic apartment right in the middle of Biarritz in a quiet building.
Its less than a 5 min walk to the Grande Plage, about the same to the smaller beach the other side of the old port. Altogether a perfect location.

The owner was there waiting for us when we arrived.

The property was very clean and the apartment and kitchen were well equipped.

The apartment is much nicer and bigger than the photos here. The twin beds are round the corner and so feels like its separate.


Overall we loved the apartment. Thank you!

Biarritz has everything for everyone. I spent a week there primarily on a surfing holiday with a friend - we were over the moon to find an abundance of activities to keep us occupied between surfs (golf, pelotta, Biarritz rugby game, markets etc...).

As for the accommodation - I was very pleased as to how smooth it ran. This flat could not be better located with easy access to every part of Biarritz. The hostess kindly meets you when you arrive (even though we were arriving terribly late on Saturday night!) and ensures that you have everything you need for the duration of your stay. Within the flat, you quickly discover that you have everything to hand that you may otherwise miss in other self-catering appartments (e.g. towels, washing up utensils, DVD and TV etc.).
In addition, there is a welcome pack that details the highlights of Biarritz and provides you with pieces of advice of where to eat and where to visit all of which seem to have escaped the guide books.

All in all, a first rate holiday that was complimented by a wonderfully looked after appartment in the heart of town.
