A five minute walk through the cobbled streets leads you to the beach, local market, shops, restaurants and bars. The large roof terrace has stunning views of the old castle, sea, botanical gardens, old town and the mountains beyond. Parking is a few minutes walk or there is an underground car park 5 minutes away. For those wanting to experience 'real Spain', this is it.

The house is situated in the heart of old Almunecar. The beach, local market with fresh produce, bars, restaurants and shops are all a five minute walk. Nerja ,15 min away with its amazing caves, stunning scenery and for those who love a bargain, a large car boot sale every Sunday morning. The beautiful historic city of Granada with the famous Alhambra Palace is only 45 min away, well worth a visit. Granada has great shops. The Alpujarras, (Lanjaron, Orgiva) a series of mountain villages, it seems time has stopped here, also great for walks. The national parks of Sierra Nevadas, Peña Escrita, Cerro Gordo and Lecrin Valley are all close by. If you want to ski the Sierra Nevada is an hour away.
