Peyia Gardens is a brand new (June 2007) luxury development of beautiful townhouses located close to the quiet village of Peyia. This is a fully air conditioned 2 double bedroom townhouse which sleeps up to 4 people, complete with ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom and ensuite shower room to the second bedroom. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom two singles. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and air conditioning. The master bedroom suite has magnificent views from the balcony to the sea and over the beautifully landscaped grounds and pool. It also has a spectacular high pyramid dome ceiling and feature porthole high level windows. Downstairs is a through lounge with very comfortable leather sofas, dining area, luxury kitchen with granite worktops and main appliances and separate WC. The lounge comes complete with a LCD flat screen TV, DVD Player and Air Conditioning. To the rear is a patio area overlooking the communal pool with garden furniture and parasol.

Peyia proves a welcome antidote to the bustle of nearby Pafos and is a great place to while away a relaxing lunchtime with a plateful of meze and a cold bottle of Keo beer. You will also find a number of local companies offering every white-knuckled pursuit from go-karting to paragliding, otherwise it's a short hop to the beach. The whitewashed village clings to the rugged hills that act a backdrop to Cyprus' most photogenic stretch of coastline. Below glitter the crystal waters of the Mediterranean, while to the north the silhouetted peak of Ayios Yeoyios marks the beginning of the untouched Akamas Peninsula. Coral Bay is a great base for exploring the pristine coastline to the north, where a jigsaw of coves and inlets hide some of the best beaches on the island. The summer heat is often tempered by a gentle breeze, the sea has a shallow margin where children may play safely and water sports on offer include pedaloes, water skiing, banana boats, wet bikes and windsurfing.

There is a £100 refundable security deposit required in case of breakages or excessive cleaning. The price is the rate for the property for up to 4 persons. Rates include air conditioning, electricity and water. The villa will be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. There is no maid service during your stay; however, there will be enough linen and towels within the property for changes on a weekly basis. Dates can be reserved for 48 hours to allow for travel arrangements, flights etc to be made. We can also rent part weeks by day. The final payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. We advise that travel insurance is taken out in case of unexpected cancellation once full payment has been made.Last minute discount!! 10% discount if booking start date is less than 2 weeks away.

Peyia facilities

The best way to get around is by car. There are plenty of parking places in Peyia. The main car park is situated on the left hand side of the road and is well signposted. Facilities in Peyia are mainly situated on the main road you will find a Chemist, bakery, which serves delicious hot bread first thing in the morning. There are plenty of taverns to choose from serving a variety of local dishes, Peyia Tavern or Cousins Tavern are quite good which are situated above 'Karenina Tavern' at Cousins and the Chef Tavern” they serve an excellent Meze. If you have the time try all the local Peyia restaurants during your holiday. If you fancy a take away La Frescoe is in the same areas (opposite Jail Pub), just phone them for free delivery.

Local shops

There are three banks in Peyia. All exchange money If you are changing traveller’s cheques don't forget your passports. Banks are open from 08:30 to 12:30 Monday to Friday, Please be warned the banks are closed on Saturday and Sunday and afternoons. There is also a Doctor and Dentist surgery hopefully you won't need them but it's nice to know they are there if you should need them. Behind the church you will find (Philippos) This is the main village supermarket it has everything and anything your heart desires from milk, bread, olives, frozen foods, fresh fruit and veg, kitchen sinks, microwaves ovens, cuddly toys. Most of his customers are amazed at what he has on the ground floor and don’t realize that it has two floors.

We can thoroughly recommend this beautifully furnished house, ideally located with Peyia village and Coral Bay close by. The gardens & pool area are maintained to a very high standard making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy the wonderful Cyprus weather. Lots of additional information provided by the owners which was very useful.
