This luxury traditional style villa, situated on the 10th fairway of the golf course, is the perfect venue for a family or golfing holiday. A safe, gorgeous sandy beach is within easy walking distance and several other spectacular beaches are only a short drive away. The villa is luxuriously furnished with a large, bright living room which has seating for 8 and satellite TV. The dining area has a large extendable table and also seating for 8. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor consisting of a twin room with its own ensuite bathroom and seperate door to the courtyard, and two further twin rooms with a shared family bathroom, together with the fully-fitted kitchen, making the house suitable for those who require downstairs accommodation. The master suite is upstairs and has an ensuite bathroom and large roof terrace. The swimming pool and spacious garden, together with the courtyard make the ideal location for summer outdoor living.

The villa is situated on a quiet road on the Neuvo Portil Campo de Golf, overlooking the 10th green of the 18 hole course. Within a short walking distance there are bars and resturants, as well as two 4 star hotels that both offer Spa / Fitness facilities. The stunning beach of El Portil is also just a short 10 minute walk away. 5min drive up the coast is the quaint fishing village of El Rompido, which boasts many fabulous fish resturants amongst others. Additionally there is a Marina complex, two further golf courses along side a 5 star hotel. If a little more excitement is in order then a little further up the road there is a water park and karting track. During the summer months the town of Punta Umbria, which is just 15 mins drive from the villa, provides great nightlife, with large open air nightclubs, for the young or young at heart to dance the night away. Our local representative will be able to provide further info on the area, as well as arranging discounted golf packages.

Hire car rates: Cars can be hired easily on line and I recommend that you 'surf' to find the best deal for you. A car is advisable but not absolutely necessary. Faro airport is the best for the villa at approximately one hour away, however Seville is also convenient only an extra few mins more than Faro. Again, 'surf' the net for the best deals for flights. Faro is extremely well served and Ryanair fly daily to Seville.

Golf information:: The villa occupies a beautiful location, overlooking the 10th fairway of the Nuevo Portil Campo de Golf. El Rompido Golf Course is less than 5 minutes' drive away. The courses here on the Atlantic Coast of Spain are relatively quiet, of excellent quality and much better value than those over the border in Portugal. In total there are 4 courses within a 15 min drive of the villa and a further 4 within another 10 minutes. Discounted Green Fees can be organised through our local rep.

Beach: The beach is a 10 - 15 min stroll away, and has miles of golden sand. There is also a 5km long sand spit aprox 200m offshore from the main beach which can be accesed via water taxi's during the high season. Beach Towels and Parasols are provided.

Golf: Neuvo Portil golf is less than a 5 minute drive from the villa to the club house. Green fees are great value at a fraction of the cost to those on the Portugese side of the border. The excellent 18 hole course is rarely that busy, so no frustrating waiting around. Just 5 minutes drive from here, El Rompido golf boasts a further two superb 18 hole courses. Several other courses are also within a half hour drive. Our local representative can arrange discounted green fees (approx £22 pp) on request.

Relaxing break

This is our second time at this particular property (forgot to write a review last year). This property has everything and i mean everything you require for a fun relaxing holiday. Private pool, large private garden, on the 10th fairway of a golf course, 5 mins from a glorious sandy beach (sea a bit cold). The house was immaculate, equipped to a very high standard and has all modern conveniences to make lour life easier and our holiday even more relaxing. Our 3 year old daughter enjoys the pool and all the little parks which can be found around the area, when we eventually decided to explore. Golf course in excellent condition and is a typical resort course (although still quite challenging the rough is kept low for golfers like me with a bit of a power fade). The owners are very approachable and answered all our questions. The maps and local information they provided was excellent. An excellent holiday and i am looking forward to going again next year.

Golfing Holiday

Just came back from 4Days at this wonderful Villa.... and three rounds of Golf.
Photos don't do justice to the villa itself and the house has everything that you would need for your stay.
PLayed golf at the Neuvo Portil golf course which is a very nice course, could potentially do with a little more water hazzards, but still a very challenging course.
The villa is on the 10th hole so were we able to stop for lunch every day at the turn and watch the golfers play by.
Town is about 5 mins drive away and beach is not far.
HIghly recommend this Villa , probably be back again next year.

relaxing family holiday

We went in October for 2 weeks, so a lot of places like restaurants and shops were closed but we were told so by the owner before we booked. There was good and regular contact with te owners before we left so we were good informed about all. We (7 adults and 2 small children) wanted a quiet and relaxing family holiday and we did.
We got a detailed map send which explained how to get from the airport to the villa.And of the surroundings of the house, they were really usefull. The villa itself was very clean and well maintained. The "poolman" came by every week to clean the pool and to check if there were any problems or to see if we needed something. Also the bedlinnen and towels were changed in the half of our holiday. We liked a lot that the property was surrounded by a gate and small wall so we didn·t have to worry about the kids getting out. Also the terrace on the front of the house you can close so you have more privacy and children can play there without any problems. If you go with children you have to pay extra attention for the pool cause it is very easy for them to get in(no protection arround)! All around the house there is a nice garden with a terrace in the back overlooking the golfcourse and a terrace in the front.The beach is closeby and very nice to go to, also with the car you have various beaches nearby.By foot there is at 10 minutes from the house a local supermarket and various small grosssery shops.
If you have a car you have a carrefour supermarket at10-15 minutes drive but I recommend going to Mercadona. It is just before carrefour in Cartaya town.It is a spanish supermarket were you can find all but cheaper. Cartaya is a nice town were also in winter you can find shops both touristic and regular ones. We also found the people very friendly and helpfull in Cartaya.
We recommend this property to who wants to have a relaxing but comfortable holiday.

Fabulous Holiday Experience

The villa was simply the best quality accommodation our families have ever stayed in. Our party of four adults and four children (ages 11 to 16) found it hard to drag ourselves away from the villa pool to do any of the other normal holiday things! However, I managed to get a few rounds of golf on the superbly maintained and ultra convenient golf course, plus we all took in several of the local bars and restaurants (all of which were great value for money compared to other parts of Spain we have visited). There was even an excellent stretch of sandy beech about half a mile down the hill. Prior to our visit, the owner was exceptionally helpful with any questions we had. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this holiday accommodation.

Excellent Villa

We have just returned from a fantastic week at this villa.
This is a beautiful villa and well furnished. It was a great location, close to the beach and there are some fantastic restaurants nearby, especially fish restaurants.
We did not use the golf courses, due to the heat but these looked great. Great entertainment watching the golf on the hole directly at the back of the villa !
Would certainly revisit this villa.
