This recently refurbished, light, airy, spacious one bedroom apartment looks directly on to the port of Nice. It is located in a beautiful, old, well-kept building. It is furnished to a very high standard with sofa, footstool, dining table and chairs, and bar stools overlooking the kitchen area. The kitchen itself has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, full oven, grill and hob. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, cabinets and lots of wardrobe space, it also overlooks the port - great views with your morning coffee! The whole apartment is fully air-conditioned which is a real bonus in those hot summer months. The property is ideally located to explore Nice and the surrounding areas as it is close to all transport links. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops within a few minutes walk. We provide bed linen, towels, and a representative in France to meet and greet you on arrival and to answer any questions whilst you are there. Please note - no smoking

Our apartment is in a fantastic location with great views on to the Port of Nice from all the windows. This is a great place to watch the world go by and see how the other half live on their palatial boats. It is located on the first floor (no lift) of a lovely, old building which is in great condition. It is very central - just a quick walk to all of the main attractions of Nice - Old Town, the main shopping area and the beach. Close to the apartment are bars, restaurants and shops. Just over the road are regular ferries to Corsica and Sardinia, along with cruises along the coast. The main bus station is about a 10 minute walk away, from here you can get to places such as Monaco, St Paul De Vence, Cannes, St Tropez, Grasse. Buses tend to be reliable and cheap. The train station is around 30min walk - or you can get a bus from the station. There is a taxi rank less than five minutes away. Nice airport is around 10km away - served by taxis and a very regular bus service.

Notes: We have a Bose CD/Radio/Alarm with a selection of CD's. There is also an adaptor that is compatible with Apple ipods and most other MP3 players. There is a personal DVD player with a selection of DVD's. Also in the apartment there is an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. The kitchen is really well equipped with a good selection of quality utensils, crockery, glasses, baking tins and ovenproof dishes. There are mats and napkins for the dining table. The air conditioning is new and effective and can heat or cool the apartment. There are guide books and maps for you to use during your stay. We provide all towels, bed linen.

Our Apartment: This apartment isn't the cheapest to rent but we would like to think that it is one of the nicest! It is really aimed at couples looking for a intimate, romantic holiday away from everything. You get everything you would get in a luxury hotel room for a fraction of the price with more space and freedom - no need to get out of bed for the maid, make a coffee when you want one, cook a lovely meal. it is equipped as a second home not a rental apartment with things like a Bose CD player, Wedgewood and Le Creuset crockery, quality towels and linen.

Making The Most Of Your Stay: We want you to have a fantastic time in Nice and come home loving it as much as we do.

It's been a real pleasure to stay at the Papacino apartment. The view and location are fantastic, as is the house and the property itself. My only complaints are the absence of the Bose CD player advertised on this site and a smallish bed (140cm). But those things might not be important for somebody else, so if you're on your own and don't plan to listen to your CDs, then do book this place!

We really soft towels (a rare thing!) and nice linens!

Overall, it was a very nice experience, and I have already recommended the place to some of my friends!

A Great time in Nice

Over the last ten years,my wife Angela and I have enjoyed at least one holiday a year in Nice and I can honestly say that this year,s was one of best we,ve had in the South of France due to the location of the apartment,which is quite superb,spot on.
Everything was exactly as described,the photographs and text could not have been more accurate,a taxi from the airport took us straight to the location,no fuss,where we were met with the keys,and shown around the the apartment,which very clean and very well maintained and we could immediately recognise what a magnificent location it is in and both the amenities and the lay out were perfectly described
The other attraction of the location is it,s proximity Nice,s transport system,two minutes walk to the very frequent bus service,five minutes walk to the tram stop and for the fitter visitors a twenty minute walk along the promanarde to the old town.As well as the local transport,the stop for the bus to Monaco,is also two minutes walk away,cost one euro and well worth a trip.
The customer service again was excellent both before and during our stay and on leaving a taxi was arranged for us to take us back to the airport and smooth our journey home.We have already recommended the apartment to a friend and we are looking to return ourselve,s next year.
All in all a great holiday based in a great apartment

Beautiful apartment in idyllic location.

The apartment and view from it were exactly as described by the owners. We were so glad that we opted for this apartment as its decor and furnishings were of the highest standard and the view of the harbour was unparellelled. We were close to everything that makes a short break enjoyable ..great restaurants, cheap, regular public transport giving easy access to the whole of the Cote d'Azur. The owners had thoughtfully supplied a great deal of useful information in advance , which we were very glad to avail of. A very special place which we have already recommended to our friends.

Lovely apartment based holiday, ideal for a couple

We recently spent a week in this lovely apartment overlooking the port of Nice. It is in an excellent location on the first floor of a well kept period building offering superb views over the harbour. The apartment, though not overly large has a spacious feel to it and is tastefully decorated & very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable & enjoyable stay; it also has the benefit of air conditioning. The owners of the apartment have provided lots of helpful information about places to visit, recommendations for various restaurants and help with finding local amenities. All in all they help you to make the most of your stay. The location is very convenient for public transport if you wish to see more of the area and is also very convenient for a number of good restaurants and local shopping. The beach is aproximately a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment and the owners have thoughtfully provided picnic equipment, beach mats & a beach umbrella. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing holiday location, we had a super time and would love to return some day.

Wonderful Apartment in Nice

A lovely, well-equipped, clean, secure and quiet apartment in the port area of Nice. The views from the apartment are fantastic and it's easy to sit and watch the huge yachts coming in and out of the port. Very accessible for the beach, the old town, the port restaurants and the bus stop with regular buses going to Monte Carlo etc.

The apartment has all kitchen essentials, a great CD player with choice of CDs and a portable DVD player with choice of DVDs. It was just what we needed.

The rep who met us on arrival was very welcoming and made us feel right at home.

The owners provided excellent suggestions of where to eat and drink and places to visit before we arrived in Nice. We would definitely return to the apartment.

A real find!
