The Algarve Region:
Vilamoura is a privately owned resort located south of Portugal in the Algarve region and is one of Europe's largest resorts which is prestigious, self-sufficient and caters for every tastes. It is unique and a special place if you are looking for a relaxing or activity holiday. It is a 30 minute drive from Faro Airport. The Algarve has a great climate and a great place to visit all year round. Vilamoura is focused around a marina where the whole area is maintained to the highest standards with plenty of restaurants, cafes, fashionable shops and boutiques with views of the marina. If you like to soak up all the culture head to some of the local tourist/historical hot sports through a number of the excursions available to you from the local Travel Agents (where you can book a one day trip to Fatima).
Vilamoura Area:
Vilamoura has excellent sport facilities and is well known around the world for its golf courses and if golf is not your thing there are other sports facilities including tennis clubs, sports clubs, lawn bowling, shooting range, horse riding or you can have a fun day out at one or more of Vilamoura's numerous waterparks or visit Portugals Zoo Marina where you can swim with the dolphins. If you like to walk you can have a leisurely day out north west of Vilamoura's protected woodlands and is great for taking a stroll and soaking up the local wild life. If you want to really relax you can laze about on one of two beaches in Vilamoura, Marina beach and Falesia golden sands with snack bars, sunbeds/umbrellas and if you like a bit of adventure there are plenty of watersports.
When the evening draws in you can head over to Vilamoura's marina to join in the night life with its lively cosmopolitan restaurants, night clubs and casino with live entertainment.

The spacious lounge, dinning area with double sofa bed (throw over covers are available for white sofas). The lounge opens onto the balcony. Selection of DVDs available (a selection of children’s DVD), PlayStation II (and some games are available), board games, cards are also available. A sunny balcony overlooking the pool, garden and tennis court area for relaxation two sun beds and sofa outdoors to soak up the sun. A large swimming pool/children’s pool and child play area. For the pool a sun bed and ring to float around the pool. Set of tennis rackets and balls available for those who want to play tennis and a selection of outdoor games such as badminton, volleyball etc. a picnic bag with fully equipped utensils for those of you who want to picnic.
A Health Club and sauna is scheduled but unfortunately is not fully up and ready as yet.
The apartment is in a secure complex with underground parking and has a security entry phone system.
