Romantic 80 msq apt completely renovated, on two levels, tastefully furnished, superbly located. This is a typical sardinian apt, in ancient building, renovated leaving the ancient 'arenaria' stone sight.It is placed on a small quiet street, in the 11th picturesque, lively, old town centre, limited from traffic but w/a comfortable parking 3 minute walk. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped.It has everything on its doorstep: Catalan towers, medieval buildings and churches, the best restaurants, corner cafés, little boutiques, gardens, supermarket, tourist centre, harbour, promenade, beaches. No need for a car as the beaches , harbour and Bastioni are 15 min. walk. It sleeps four people very comfortably, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs in the comfortable double sofa bed. There is also a cot.The bathroom has got the water reservoir in case of water lacking very frequently in tourist season in Sardinia.The apt has got air cond.& heat.The airport of Alghero is 15min by car

Sardinia is in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. The coast line is rich of beautiful, sandy beaches. Also the mountain area is fascinating and there are many nice towns and villages with festivals and folklore displays. There are more than 700 Nuraghes, stone towers and villages built during the 18'-15' centuries. Alghero is the most important city in Sardegna, where the sea is caribbean-like. Alghero Bay is a protected marine park 'Parco Marino di Porto Conte' where you can see the dark-red coral and lots of fish. There are many beautiful Roman and Gothic Catalan churches. Alghero gives you lots of opportunities for riding, biking, cave-diving, snorkelling, surfing, scuba diving, etc. Alghero, which is a city of art and culture, is full of towers (Torre del Portal, Sant Joan, de la Magdelena, etc). The apt. is near Porta Terra (Torre del Portal) which was the principal entry of Alghero in the past centuries. Now it is a reception centre.

An absolutely perfectly located apartment in a really beautiful town. Nothing is more than a few minutes walk away and there is an easy bus connection to the airport at Fertilia.

The apartment is really cosy, with a lovely mezzanine style bedroom and air conditioning etc. I'd have happily stayed there for a lot longer (and intend to return at some point).

This part of Sardinia has some stunning coastlines, especially in the North at Stintino. Plus, if you like fish, you will eat like a king here. Save the pennies and get yourself some lobster one evening, you won't regret it!

wonderful location in alghero

We spent a wonderful week at this pretty apartment in Alghero in autumn. It is located at a quiet street in downtown Alghero. It is calm, the bathroom is modern and comfortable, and everything is clean. The only think we missed is the little light in the living-room, due to few windows.

Now it is repaired . I do not think the windows are few. In 80 square meters there are 2 big windows downstairs and 3 upstairs.If you come back you will find a very bright and well lighted living room. And if you come back please put

A wonderful honeymoon

We stayed at the apartment for our honeymoon in August 2009. This beautiful apartment with great attention to detail is every bit as idilic as the old town of Alghero. The apartment is well equipped and the A/C was very much appreciated, it was very clean and presented to a very high standard. We had a wonderful stay, the apartment is very close to the waterfront and beach, there are lots of fabulous restaurants and small unique shops and markets.

At this apartment you dont need to have a car, there is lots to see and do in alghero and there is a very good transport service to all the best beaches and tourists spots. We did two of the most fantastic boat trips, one was to the Neptune Caves and the other was a Dolphin Tour. They are a must if you want to enjoy your surroundings.We also did the horse and cart ride around the old town which gave you brief but useful information - helpful in planning your time in alghero.

The sunset over the harbour was the most magical view, and we enjoyed it each evening in one of the many sea facing restaurants/bar. The street markets are worth a look, showing local crafts and produce.

Tiziana was very friendly and very helpful, sending us emails right up to our stay to recommend beaches and the best places to visit. Palmina was lovely, she showed us around the apartment when we got there and come to check everything was ok before we left.

We had the most wonderful honeymoon staying in this apartment and we hope to come back next year to explore some more. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

THE BEST HOLIDAY IN MY LIFE

I was with my boyfriend and friends in Alghero last week in August this year. The apartment is in the heart of old town and very close to the beach. It is very clean, with a lot of details, pictures, household supplies, even umbrellas, balls, rackets for beach sports etc. There is a very cheap market close to apartment, lovely restauranst, shoops, bars... Tiziana is very profesional, kind and friendly person. We booked this apartment 3 weeks earlyer, and she wrote e-mail every week and she checked if we need some more informations about Alghero, apartment... She sent us pictures, wrote "top places and beaches" we should see. Palmina was also very gentle - she greeted us in the apartment and showed us all.
In any case - it was the best apartment in which I was, best location and holiday.

Lovely Sardinian get-away

This apartment was perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun. It combined all mod cons (DVD, dishwasher, air con etc) with authentic local feel (bare stone walls, wooden beams, cobbled street outside). It's ideally located minutes from the best of the waterfront bars & restaurants, as well as the main bus stop, the tourist information centre and the wonderful fresh market (and supermarket) for supplies. The owner has thought of everything, and even leaves bath towels a beach umbrella with beach mats so you can bring minimal luggage. We recommend you explore the beaches north of Alghero and make the effort to get out to Stintini La Pelosa - the water looks like the Caribbean!!

We will definitely be going back.
