Casa da Olga has been in the family for over 50 years, having been bought new by my grandfather. This and two other properties, listed under property no. 15833, have been used as the family holiday home for three generations. They have undergone extensive renovations in the winter of 2004 and are now completely refurbished. It is surrounded by a traditional courtyard with budding grape vines and flower beds - a great place for barbeque's! Sea views can be seen from the gate and it's only a short walk to the beach. There is also an Olympic sized swimming pool by the beach for those who do not wish to venture the waves which includes a children's pool as well. Transport

There is very easy access to Praia das Maçãs from the Lisbon airport (we will send you detailed routes and maps once you've booked) but if you don't rent a car, there is also a choice of public transport, and a taxi ride would cost you about 35 euros on a Saturday. Car rental is available locally or from Lisbon airport, you can arrange this before you travel. Buses leave from Praia das Maçãs to Sintra regularly. In Sintra there are two main train stations into Lisbon and also the north of the country. You can take another bus from Sintra to Cascais, Estoril, Mafra or Ericeira, just ask at the information centre.
