House to rent in Piemonte, stunning newly converted 2 story house located on the top of a hill. Amazing views, beautiful place to relax, lie by the pool, mountain biking/hiking, great food, local bar, huge eat in kitchen with a terrace all around the house, overlooking the valley. satellite TV, DVD, video and stereo. The house is 400sq meters so enough space to have some quiet time if you are with a large group. Child friendly and child items for rent per stay. Swimming pool 12 meters by 5,5 meters and throughout 1,50/160 meter deep. The house can hold families as there are 5 bedrooms, 3 with double beds and 2 with single beds. Located between the airports of Genua, Turin, Milan Malpensa and the house is situated in the middle of the Italian wine region Langhe, Barolo, Barbera, Barbaresco etc...so enough wines to be tasted. The region has not been spoiled by tourists so if you want to be in a place where the menu's are not in English but still in Italian, come and discover Piemonte.

stunning spacious house, excellent for families or get together. Private house, private garden including a private swimming pool. The house is fully furnished and includes TV, video, satellite,DVD and internet. Child friendly house and includes a ping pong table and badminton. The house has a fireplace for the winter and is cool in summer. There is a downstairs bedroom very suitable for the elderly who have trouble going up stairs. The satellite has cartoon network and English,German,Dutch and French programmes. There is a separate shower and toilet near the pool. The pool is fenced off so safe for children. Items such as baby bed, play pen and high chair can be rented for the duration of your stay. There is a washing machine available. It is a quiet area and the house has beautiful views over the vineyards. A car is necessary as you are located on a hill. Plenty of food shops all within a short drive. Garden furniture is present and there is shade as it can get quite warm in summer

If a reservation option is made, the time will be blocked as soon as I have received a confirmation and then a deposit will have to be paid directly to me. The deposit is returned after the cleaning and laundering has been done and breakages have been checked. The end of tenancy clean generally should be no more than 150 Euro to include laundering. Should the property be left in pristine condition then no or little cleaning charge will be necessary only the laundering will be charged. At the end of your stay the ping pong table must be returned to the garage. The rubbish must be put in the container at the end of the street and all laundry can be left in the bathrooms.

Notes to the rental rates

Deposit is required for advance booking. Start and end days can be discussed / flexible depending on the season. The full rental amount must be cleared into the bank account 8 weeks prior to start date of the rental period. The deposit is returned after final cleaning and the check out inspection. Check out must be at 10.00 unless a later time has been agreed. Arrival time is at 16.00 on date of arrival unless otherwise agreed.

Please note there is a cleaning cost which should be approx. 150 euro to include laundering of linnen. This will be checked prior to returning the deposit fee.

Childerens items can be rented for the duration of your stay, if needed a 2nd cot can be arranged. Cost per stay is 25 euro's to rent the baby bed, box and high chair.

| Notes: | There are two steps in the house but large enough for a wheelchair to pass through and not too high. A ramp can be provided should one be required. There are some games in the house which can be used but must be returned in tact. Trivial pursuit, chess, checkers, backgammon, poker and yatzee, DVD and videos also possible to watch. There is a ping pong table which is located in the garage and can be used. There is a fridge which can be used for drinks by the pool, only plastic glasses, bowl and plates can be used by the pool so that there can never be broken glass. The plastic plates, cups are in the kitchen. There is a large table outside where you can eat and watch the pool. The barbeque can be used but must be cleaned prior to leaving. There is a washing line to dry your laundry and 8 swimming towels. The Langhe area is dotted with many farmhouses and a large number of vineyards, historic castles and cellars to visit |
Golf, mountain biking, walking, wine, horse riding
The area is has quite a few golf courses, the oldest 36 hole golf course is located near Asti, approx. 40 min drive. If interested in Golf I can provide you with some links to all the golf courses in the area. The area is very suitable for walking, a lot of hills though! The whole area is wonderful to discover, not too many tourists and definitely no menus in English!! Piemonte is also famous for their wines therefore many cellars/stores dotted around the area. The hilly landscape, the cuisine, rendered varied by the range of culture and small farm holdings, and an enormous monumental heritage are things that entice one back again and again to this area. Each season here is extraordinary, starting from spring with its triumphant burst of colour offered by the vineyard dotted hillsides. Summer is mitigated by a breezy climate and preludes the glory of the harvest of a very tasty aromatic grape. Autumn heralds the appearance of the superb white truffle.

This private swimming pool has a fence around it to keep children away from the pool if needed. There are 8 swimming towels available. The swimming pool has an area of shade for those needing this. There are 8 sunbeds and you can only use plastic cups, plates and bowls by the pool, this is to ensure no glass is broken and could hurt/damage someone. There is a shower and toilet next to the swimming pool which is located in the garage next to the pool. There is a ping pong table in the garage for use.

Skiing Information:
You can go skiing in the mountains near Turin which is an hours drive so you could go for a day's skiing should you wish to and come back to a wonderful house with a fireplace and a huge kitchen/dining room (16,5 meters long).

Casa La Tana is an amazing spot..quite lovely in the unspoilt Piedmonte. The house is very spacious and comfortable, and has a great feeling of being at home. I have seen the work in progress for nearly two years, and now that the house is finished I have spent a very happy two weeks there with my daughter. Needless to say I admire her immensely for all the thought and care she has put into the property, and I can assure you that all facilities are present and I think that people will find that everything is there that they need to have a very happy anf pleasant holiday. The space is wonderful...room for everybody, but also pretty important spacious enough to be on your own as well!! Long ago we used to spend holidays with our 5 children together with friends with 3, and this house would be perfect for a combined holiday stay. Masses of english books, games ,electronic things....the pool is wonderful with the view across to Castiglione Tinella...great for sunbathing there, but also VERY important a good shaded area beside the pool. You are not dependent on parasols to get into the shade.The Piedmonte is still pretty non-touristy which is a great plus...menus usually just in Italian etc. There are lots of things to do and see....if you can tear yourself away from the house! Hopefully I will be able to go again in the autumn.....What is also a very useful asset is the bedroom downstairs (with bathroom) ...good if you take along the grandparents, or anyone who is troubled with climbing stairs.It means that the senior members can miss out on the early bird noises of the grandchildren amongst other things!!The beds are all good and long..quite rare in Italy!! I have tried to be very non-predjudiced in this description, as, even though La Tana belongs to one of my daughters, it is only fair to give a true rating.
