Exterior: Outside you have a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the unbelievable views over the ocean. From your garden you step onto the beautiful rock formations. Here you can have some amazing walks along the coastline or to have a stroll to the beach and the small fishermen´s village of Benagil. This setting is really unique. This townhouse has a very large roof terrace where the owners created a second open air living room with some comfortable couches. You can have a glass of wine here and enjoy the sunset! Next to this accommodation you will find the communal swimming pool. Most of the times there is no one there, so you can consider it as your private pool next door! In short this really is a top location!

Other Activities: fishing trips, boat trips.

Have just come back from our two weeks in Portugal, Villa in a beautiful location, with good restaurants and two lovely beaches on the doorstep.

Highly recommended for young families (we have three children 18 months, 4 and 6), the communal pool was never crowded (although cold) and the enclosed garden provided a secure outside space for them to let off some steam. Beaches really great although accessed down some steps (so can be done with a pushchair but needs to be carried down).

Benagil is a fantastic location to be based at, you can explore a lot of the Algarve. Three waterparks close by, nearest only 10 minutes away, some good child friendly beaches Eg Meia Praia within 30 mins drive. Good supermarket 5 mins away..need I go on! Really great location for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!

Only downside was sometimes lack of hot water (heated by gas and pressure not always maintained) - but not a huge problem as it was very warm weather when we were there so a coldish shower can be quite refreshing!

Facilities within Villa excellent, all mod cons etc and Floris and Kim (managing agents) live on the complex and ensured all went well.

A Private Piece of Heaven

If you want to feel you've landed in heaven, BOOK THIS BUNGALOW! On arrival Kim and Floris made us feel so special, showing us around the bungalow and how to use all the gadgets. After they left, we found a welcome brochure and bottle of wine on the dining room table! Absolutely stunning bungalow with a fantastic view both from windows and rooftop terrace. All the rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and wardrobe space. (A safe which is free to use is inside the wardrobe in the main bedroom.) The kitchen has all the cookware and gadgets you could possibly want AND a washing machine - a must when there is two adults and two children staying for two weeks! Before booking I'd read up on several websites about this property, and what appears on all of them are true - the bungalow is right next to the pool, which on several occasions was deserted, my kids felt that they had a private pool! Air-conditioning was welcome and used constantly because of the high temperatures in August. The property itself is just pure luxury and Kim and Floris always made themselves available (even though they had a new 6 week old addition to the family!) and were a fountain of local knowledge. The area itself is very quiet with only three/four restaurants in walking distance. We found that we did use the car in the evenings to go further afield if we chose to eat out. My husband and I have been holidaying together for 30 years now, and this is the first time he has ever said "we are definitely coming back to stay here"!! I think that says it all!! Be quick and book this gem of a holiday home!
