This unique farmhouse, completely newly renovated, is something really special and unforgettable. A beautiful garden surrounds the property granting privacy to its guests. From the entire house, terraces, balcony and garden you can admire a wide panorama with stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The house is very quiet and the lake provides absolute serenity, but it is possible to find more life just walking to the main beach of the village, where the tourists and the windsurfers meet. Dongo and the Northern part of Lake Como in general, is known worldwide as one of the best spots for sailing, windsurfing and kite surfing. A local wind from South called Breva comes every day in the early afternoon and assures fun for the sail/wind and kite surf lovers!

Surprise walk up to the house

We have had a pleasant stay in this house, however we were surprised by the 5-minute climb up to the house. With two very small children it is not easy to walk up and down every day, and we missed that piece of information at the property details.
Besides that, the house is wonderful, magnificent view over the lake, plenty of space arround the house and the house itself is very comfortable, with luxiourus kitchen etc.

Farmhouse with 'wow' factory

Both the farmhouse and the view have 'wow' factory. The farmhouse has been totally renovated to have all modern facilities but it still retains its nostalgic charm. A perfect location from where to explore Lake Como (ferries just a few kms down the road). The steps & path up to the farmhouse may be steep for some but Lorenzo's 84year old mum walks it every day! If you like peace & quiet to enjoy a glass of wine in the sunset - this is the place to stay. Good walks around the lake & windsurfing down in Dongo.

Ein superschönes Ferienhaus am Hang (Rucksack statt Koffer, da es nur über einen kurzen steilen Fußweg erreichbar ist) mit riesengroßem eingezäunten Grundstück. Sehr nette Vermieter, mit Versorgung vom Gemüse aus dem Garten. Viele schöne Wandermöglichkeiten in den Bergen mit atemberaubenden Ausblicken. Waren von den Pizzen im Ristorante Griffone begeistert.

We absolutely enjoyed our vacation in this marvellous house. Furniture and equipment are in very good condition, the garden with fresh vegetables is a nice add on. Regarding the way up to the house we had the same surprise, nevertheless with our children (7 and 9 years) the way was acceptable. Lorenzo was helpful with the luggage during arrival. All in all great stay and reliable package. Fair deal.
