Superb villa with lovely garden and private pool, near Praia das Macas and Praia Grande beaches, (Colares, Sintra,,Lisbon Coast), close to restaurants and supermarkets, with 4 comfortable Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, fully Kitchen, Dining/Living room, BBQ area for al fresco diner, interior Parking for 2 cars. Sleeps 8 adults and 2 children. This lovely villa is located in a quiet area of Banzao, Colares, only 10 min. walk to the sandy beach Praia das Macas and only half an hour to Lisbon centre, Cascais and Estoril. Located very close to the sandy beaches Praia das Macas and Praia Grande (5 min. drive) Nearby, there are several historical monuments that you must visit :Pena Palace, Monserrate Palace, Regaleira Palace, Seteais Palace, Toy Museum, etc. Quickly you got some golf courses close to the villa as Penha Longa Golf, Beloura Golf, Quinta da Marinha Golf, etc.. Also, you will find some shopping centers as Cascais Shopping, Beloura Shopping and Sintra Retail Park, etc, 20 min. drive

Also, you will find some golf courses as Penha Longa Golf, Beloura Golf, Quinta da Marinha Golf etc. There are many restaurants and little shops near the villa. If you prefer a shopping center, you will find Cascais Shopping, Beloura Shopping, Sintra Retail Park, 15 min. drive from the villa.

Reviews: Vacaciones en Agosto de 2008, de: Rocío, 21/Set/2008 : Una casa cómoda, bonita y en un entorno muy tranquilo, solo a 5 minutos caminando al pueblo. Muy cerca de Sintra y de todas las excursiones monumentales de la zona. También al lado del Cabo da Roca (la punta de la nariz), al que vale la pena acercarse al atardecer. Lisboa queda a media hora aprox. La casa es tan acogedora que hicimos menos turismo del que esperábamos y es lo suficientemente grande como para perderse y disfrutar de una buena lectura o siesta al aire libre. La realidad no desmerece para nada a las fotos. Por la noche hace frío y se escucha romper las olas del océano. Lo menos bueno, la piscina, demasiado fresca..

Dear Rui – just wanted to drop you a line to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Casa da Palmeira. The villa was great for us (6 adults and 2 children) and the layout with 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs was perfect. The children had great fun playing in the pool and there was lots of room for them to run around in the garden and for us all to sit round the pool. The villa’s in a great location, quiet but close to everything, we loved sitting out on the verandah and watching the world go by. Praia de Macas was just a few minutes away in the car (too lazy to walk!) and the little market there was great for fresh fish and veggies and we enjoyed many a bar-b-que out on the verandah. It was lovely to be somewhere that is still very Portuguese, we really enjoyed exploring the beaches and surrounding area. Our thanks too for meeting us at the villa, at was by then a very late hour and despite that still taking us off to the supermarket which was much appreciated. We hope to be back again soon.
