If you don't book this property, in our opinion, you will be making a big mistake!
After watching the Travel Channel's "Best Beaches", we chose to go to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world - Siesta Key Beach!
My husband and I booked the Sarasota Pool Home (the first week of June) after doing extensive research of rentals in the Siesta Key area. We looked at properties on the beach and off, but always kept going back to the Pool Home, and so glad we did! It was exactly what we wanted!
Imagine, your own tastefully decorated and maintained 2000 sq. ft. home, no other tourists to deal with, no elevators or parking issues, with a beautiful screened pool (open 24/7) all to yourselves to swim in under the stars! Add to this, a gas grill, covered screened lanai, lots of wonderful patio furniture to enjoy, and a privacy fence with lush tropical plants surrounding it! My husband took lots of pictures of the tropical plants, flowering bushes, and palm trees!
Also, wanted to mention that our cousin and her husband own property on Lido Key. When we told them we booked the Pool Home, they drove by the property. They told us the home was extremely nice, and that the owner must have it professionally maintained (which he does, and pool service as well). You'll also notice upon check-in, a nice touch by the maid...fanned toilet paper and wash cloths!
The home truly is immaculate, AND no extra cleaning fee charge! A BIG +! As seen in the pictures, it has beautiful decor and furniture, a large screen TV, DVD player with a nice selection of movies, 6 disc CD player, and an Apple iMac computer to boot! A beautifully tiled shower off the master, a large main bathroom (large mirrors and plenty of room for the ladies to get ready :), a formal dining area (with a beautiful hutch), eat in kitchen, as well as a laundry room and a separate office. A double car garage, with more beach equipment than you will probably need. All this and just a short walk, or drive (we did both) to Siesta Key Beach!
With respect to the owner, he made sure our every need was met. He was out of town during our check-in, so his lovely parents gave us the "Grand Tour" and made us feel right at home. Although we did have the pleasure of meeting Bob during our visit. His hospitality was above and beyond our expectations! Found out he has a birthday very soon. It's a BIG one, so wish him a HAPPY BIRTHDAY if you get the chance!
