La Sella is situated only minutes away from the AP7 motorway (exit 62) and the National 332 main road, but when you enter the exclusive location in the Montgo National Park all you can hear is the peace and quiet. The main town, Denia, is 10 minutes drive away and has a large selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Denia has fast ferry services to Ibiza and Majorca. Denia beach is wonderful with all the water sports you would expect. Just a short distance inland you have the beautiful & peaceful JALON and ORBA valleys with their charming villages surrounded by orange, almond, & olive groves. Within easy driving distance are the resort towns of Javea, Moraira and Calpe. A 30 minute drive could take you to Terra Mitica theme park near Benidorm, the Safari Park at Vergel and Aqualandia. The cities of Valencia and Alicante are also worth a visit. The region is renowned for its many fiestas held throughout the year. All the local towns have large market days during the week.

Stayed at this lovely apartment for two weeks over Xmas and New Year 2008/9. Flew into Alicante and travelled using the A-70 and AP-7 toll road to junction 62, which was an easy direct route. La Sella development is just off the junction and easy to locate following the directions.

The apartment is very comfortable and beautifully furnished with a modern, homely feel. Opening the shutters and WOW, what a view. On a clear day you really can see forever. There is a large terrace to enjoy the views both day and night, and we were able to see 100s of firework displays on New Year’s Eve.

The local countryside, old towns and beaches are easily accessible, with lovely walks and plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Very relaxing holiday and will use this apartment again.

We stayed in this apartment for a week in April 2007. We flew into Alicante and it was an easy drive from there to the apartment. Once you enter the La Sella development just follow the directions and look for the large orange blocks. We found the apartment to be very clean and well equipped with good quality stylish new furnishing (also good quality bedding). We were pleasantly surprised to find an ipod dock/speaker as well as some cds and dvds in the drawer under the TV. There was plenty of room for our party of four.

In April the poolside area was never crowded and in fact we were often the only family using it.

It’s a short walk down the hill to the shop, pharmacy and restaurant /bar where we enjoyed several meals. About 5 minutes drive away (at the junction of the dual carriage) way is a huge new shopping centre. It includes a large supermarket, plenty of shops, bowling alley, cinema and plenty of places to eat. There is a theme park just outside of Benidorm which was a good day out and in late April we hardly had to queue (in fact we repeated all the best rides).

Overall the holiday was very good so we have booked to be there again this Easter.
