Attractive 3 bed detached bungalow, few minutes to beach .
'Treetops' a detached bungalow is peacefully situated in a quiet private cul-de-sac road. It has a long driveway with ample room for 2 vehicles and its own gate. It has sea views with the beach 10 minute walk away to the right and the village centre 5 minute walk away to the left.....There is a lovely large lawn at front and completely private at back with picnic and seating area..............There is a new kitchen with hatch overlooking a pleasant dining room combined sitting area. This opens onto a very spacious garden room with ample seating and another table for games...then voila! the beautiful spacious back garden is in full view........There are 3 bedrooms in total, a delightful master bedroom en-suite is located at one end of the bungalow and the other master bedroom with adjacent bath/shower included to the other end of bungalow. Next to this is the third bedroom with twin beds............There is a door in middle of hallway which can be closed making for more privacy.

Croyde dates back to 17th century and many of the thatched cottages from that time still remain giving Croyde that old world charm. Croyde is best known for its excellent beach of golden sands and surfing together with safe bathing. National Trust land is adjoining and has excellent walks and views. Walk the coastal path to Baggy Point -very scenic views across land and ocean with park benches to rest and enjoy the magnificent views. There are excellent restaurants and pubs in Croyde village several of which serve Devon cream teas. The village has several stores including a post office and a regular bus service. Barnstaple-ten miles away is a historic market town and an excellent shopping centre. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Clovelly are among places of beauty and historic interest. Ilfracombe is 10 miles -an old historic fishing town and park gardens. Fishing excursions and ferry to Lundy Island are here. Notes to the rental rates

A deposit of 50% of the rental rate is required at time of booking and the balance with a 50 pounds security fee is due twelve weeks or more before the arrival date. The security fee will be refunded within 14 days if no damage. The deposit and balance are non refundable if the holiday is cancelled and the property cannot be let for the cancelled period- however, every effort will be made to re-let the bungalow for this period.

Croyde is one of the premier choices of holiday for it's many amenities and unspoilt beauty. The charming village of Croyde has many quaint cottages, several restaurants and pubs including tearooms that serve Devon Cream Teas, some stores and a post office. There is a bus service to nearby towns such as Braunton and Barnstaple.
The village is about a ten minute walk from Treetops as is the Croyde Bay beach- one of the best beaches to be found and with excellent surfing. Adjoining the beach is National Trust Land and beautiful scenic walks to Baggy Point and beyond for the more adventurous to Woolacombe and it's beach of golden sands.
Activities include walking, surfing, rock climbing, wind surfing, tennis, horse-riding, golf,cycling. -or just simply enjoy the large rear garden- very private and relaxing.
Braunton,a small shopping town is 5 miles away and Barnstaple is 10 miles away. Barnstaple is designated Europe's prettiest floral town and is also an excellent shopping centre.

The nearest Motorway is Tiverton 40 miles via the link road A361 leading to M25 junction 27, a total of 47 miles from Croyde. Exeter airport is 30 miles and a ferry at Plymouth is 50 miles. There is a ferry from Ilfracombe to Lundy Island -about 12 miles off the coast visible from Croyde and sea fishing boat trips from Ilfracombe which is 10 miles from Croyde. | Notes: | A payphone is located in the hallway. Heated conservatory 22' x 10' with sliding door to rear garden- a real bonus. 'Z' bed for seventh guest. The conservatory provides a large additional seating with pleasant views to the garden. There is an 'L' shaped living room and dining room . The kitchen has recently been completely re-fitted and has a hatch access to the living room. There is a payphone in the hallway. The fridge freezer is a large unit capable of holding plenty of foodstuffs. Double glazing through-out the property. Outdoor lighting. The property has been recently painted inside and out. Inside are pleasing 'earth-tones' and there are several original paintings for a 'home' feeling. There are numerous books of all sorts and games in the living room. Treetops Bungalow
Treetops is peacefully located in a quiet cul-de sac just a short walk to the village centre - turning left at road and a short distance to the Croyde Bay beach -turning right at road end. Further on is National Trust Land with magnificent views of the ocean and surrounding farmland. The coastal walk leads on to Baggy Point and more wonderful views. The surfing at Croyde Bay is among the best available and the award winning beach is fine and flat and well suited to children and adults alike. Backing up the beach are many sand dunes and rock pools and several different walking routes back to Treetops and the village. There is parking for two cars at Treetops with front gate and enclosed rear garden. The rear garden is also accessible from the rear of the bungalow through a patio door located in the conservatory room (22'x10') This is a real bonus. there is a picnic table and chairs in the rear garden. Internet access is available in the Surf shop in Croyde village- 5 minutes walk away.
Croyde Bay Beach
Croyde beach is a short distance from Treetops- about 5 to 10 minute walk. There is also parking available very close to the beach. The beach itself is of fine white sand with safe bathing with plenty of room for kite flying, games, or simply enjoying the wonderful views of the sea and Croyde bay, level and with rock pools and sand dunes. There are several stores in the village and one on the beach where surfing boards can be hired plus a restaurant. Further on adjacent to the beach is the Baggy Point Coastal walking path in National Trust Land with wonderful ocean views and craggy rocks about half mile away. This walking path continues on to Woolacombe and another fine beach (for the more adventurous) about 2 miles away. There are walks over the hills overlooking farmland and the bay. Along the coastal path near the beach are some tearooms serving meals and of course the famous Devon cream teas.
Scenic ares
Going in the other direction, Croyde village-few minutes walk away from Treetops. The village is totally unspoiled with thatched cottages, fine restaurants and a babbling brook running along St. Mary's Road down to the sea. There is a riding stables and tennis courts locally - also the village post office and quaint little shops selling items of local interest. Braunton is an excellent shopping centre -5 miles away and then Barnstaple market town is 10 miles away with some fine shops and the Pannier Market open Tuesdays and Fridays. There are walking tours in Barnstaple with experienced guides describing the colourful and historic past of one of the oldest market towns in Britain-bus service runs from Croyde to Barnstaple every hour. The new bridge from west side of Barnstaple across the estuary to Instow & beyond provides a good route for those wishing to visit Clovelly, Bideford etc avoiding traffic in Barnstaple centre. Famous Saunton Sands Golf Course a short scenic drive 2 miles.

There are two 18 hole courses both are traditional links courses and the East being the recognised Championship course. The West although shorter in many ways offers a more exacting test of golf. We was very inpressed with Treetops bungalow - the owners were very accurate on everything they said about the bungalow, we loved the location, the room the bungalow had to offer and Croyde village itself - it was lovely. We highly reccomend this place to small families.
