Delightful villa on the hillside village of Tourrettes-sur-Loup in the beautiful Cote d'Azur. Very quiet setting enjoying spectacular views across the countryside to the sea. Panoramic views from St Jean Cap Ferrat to L'Esterel. Tourrettes sur Loup is a medieval village, known for the violets production in the springtime. The village offers besides great views a rich craftsmanship tradition as well as great restaurants and typical french cafes. You will need a car to get to the beaches of Cagnes sur Mer at 15 km, reach Nice in 30min and Cannes in 40min. You will also be able to enjoy great walking trails around the house. Grasse, the Perfume capital is only at a 30min drive. St Paul de Vence and the famous Fondation Maeght is only 20 min away. Tourrettes sur Loup is a very central location to the best sightseeing places as well as a quiet place to rest. Summer Villa rental in South of France.

The house has 2 bedrooms with one queen bed each and 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds with single beds in which adults can sleep. One rustic crib is available. The living room is large and equiped with long table seating 14 people. An Ipod dock is available for music as well as a radio in the kitchen. Television is available with DVD player. Internet access is available, just bring your laptop. We have a washer and a dryer for your convenience.

Our experience of the villa in summer 2008

The villa had stunning views and a great swimming pool. It also had a convenient lay out for families as the living/kitchen and outside patio looked out to the pool. It had a pleasant interior and was fairly well equipped.

Whilst the property was described as being a 15 minute walk from the village, the return walk was extremely steep and would talk at least 30 minutes (with children) so we used the car for the morning croissant run.

Great family holiday on the south coast of France

Great location - 30mins drive from the famous coastline and towns of Nice & Antibes. 15mins walk to the beautiful village of Tourrettes which is largely unspolit by commercial trade (unlike some of the other medieval villages) - the villa is perched up some steep roads away from it all in a large garden with a good pool.
Excellent facilities - Our 2 children aged 5 & 7 had a fantastic time and the villa/pool is great for families. All you could need in terms of kitchen, sun loungers, bathrooms etc with comfy beds and lots of space

It's a charming villa, not too old and not too new. One of the bathrooms needs some decoration but its not important.

Would recommend to families 1 or 2, as a relaxing hideaway with easy access (need a car) to towns, beaches, sightseeing
