Notes: There is a large shared swimming pool on site and a separate children's pool, shower and toilet facilities, set in beautiful secure gardens, the main terrace of the apartment overlooking this area can be accessed from the lounge and the second bedroom. The terrace is equipped for dining and relaxing with shade provided by a large adjustable parasol. The area is well lit at night and is ideal for dining out or simply to enjoy a glass of wine. A further terrace also overlooking the pool and gardens can be accessed from the master bedroom located on the upper level of the apartment. The well appointed lounge is tastefully decorated and comfortably equipped, kick of your shoes and relax in one of the reclining armchairs with a pre-dinner drink ! In the fully fitted kitchen find there is plenty of cutlery, glasses, crockery and cooking utensils for use during your stay.

Costa Esuri...: Costa Esuri Golf and urbanization is surrounded by a a nature reserve which is rich in bird life, both native and migrating, the area is world renowned for its spectacular array of birds, including pink flamingos. Only a five minute drive away is the lively and vibrant fishing town of Ayamonte, a charming mix of palm fringed squares, pedestrian walkways and little cobbled alleys, where you will find many cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and boutiques.

Nearby/Attractions...: [BEACHES] Situated on the Atlantic coast, Costa De La Luz boasts some of the most stunning wide and sweeping sandy beaches available, peppered with little cafés and restaurants, where you can watch the world go by as you enjoy a plate of freshly caught sardines and a chilled glass of wine. [GOLF] The apartment is situated on the newly built Costa Esuri championship golf course which opened in January 2007 - have a drink and a meal and enjoy the fantastic views across the golf course to the river and Portugal. There are an abundance of other courses in the area such as Isla Canel, Islantilla, and Casto Marim. [SHOPPING AND SERVICES] There are many large well stocked supermarkets in Ayamonte such as SuperSol, a large Spanish chain. For clothes shopping, Huelva offers a large department store, El Corte Ingles and the Spanish fashion stores, Zara and Cortefiel. Other services such as banks, post office and fuel are all within easy reach in Ayamonte.

House with very good conditions at all the levels (excellent set of household appliances) .
Location with good conditions (excellent swimming pool for children) and very nice.
In the global is very nice for a pleasant holidays with children (The beaches of MonteGordo, Praia Verde and Altura are great)

Casa Ardilla

We visited Casa Ardilla mid-May 2009 and immediately on arrival we were impressed with the apartment. The owners have obviously spent a great deal of thought and time on the decoration and furnishing of Casa Ardilla and have made it a home-from-home. It was wonderfully clean, comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen was one of the best equipped we have ever found in holiday accommodation. The location was very quiet and the complex was beautifully maintained with boundaries secured by remote control access gates. A car is essential and we found the route from Faro Airport very direct and had no problems reaching Costa Esuri where the representative from the property maintenence agent met us and accompanied to Casa Ardilla. Both the owners and the agency were extremely helpful in responding to all our enquiries and needs from our initial booking and thoughout our visit. There are good local facilities for every type of shopping and, all though we are not golfers, we used and were made welcome at the Costa Esuri Golf Club. Ayamonte is a wonderful, unspoilt Spanish town and the local people are truly friendly. A lovely place to wonder through the streets browsing all kinds of shops we no longer have in the our UK town centres. There is a good range of cafesand bars to pass the early evening relaxing over a sangria or a vaso de vino tinto and a good choice of restaurants. The local beaches are stunning, mile upon mile of fine, white sand. We particulary liked Isla Canel and its beach cafes but make no mistake we are going to return and explore further. In finishing, we have to say that without reservation we would recomend Casa Ardilla to anyone planning a holiday on the Costa de la Luz and we look forward to returning there ourselves in the very near future.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Lovely apartment

June 2009: lovely, well maintained apartment in nice, quiet, secure location and just as described. Perfectly situated for pool, which was kept spotlessly clean. Apartment very tasteful, with every amenity you need, and sun on balcony area from late morning until sunset. Ideal also for 2 couples, with 2 separate bathroom and bedroom areas. Golf clubhouse ideal for drinks and reasonably priced meals. Costa Esuri is a very quiet complex with no shopping, and the clubhouse the main activity for evening, but there is a large hypermarket 5 mins drive and the lovely non touristy town of Ayamonte 10 mins drive provides shopping and restaurants and a traditional Spanish lifestyle. Several beautiful beaches about 15 mins drive. If you want a relaxing,unspoilt break in comfortable surroundings, it is ideal and we would recommend it, but you do also need a car for Ayamonte and the beaches. We flew from Faro, Portugal and the directions provided for driving over to Spain were easy to follow and only took about 45 mins. Easy to go back and forth to Portugal to the more touristy area of Monte Gordo.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
