Walk or cycle to the Canal du Midi. Cycle or barge along the canal. Visit nearby Carcassonne, or the black mountains. Sample the wines of the vineyards of the Cabardes or Limoux. Visit nearby Cathar castles, or the book town of Montolieu. In winter, ski in the Pyrenees, or shop in Toulouse.
