Beautiful bright 2 bed apartment in Musicians centre of Nice. Sleeps 4/5. On 2nd floor with LIFT. Fully equipped bespoke kitchen as well as newly decorated living room, with its own balcony which comes equipped for those long lunches alfresco or romantic Kir Royales! There is also a little balcony at the back of the apartment for those sun worshippers who like to read away from the crowd! Otherwise walk the 5min leisurely stroll to the Promenade des Anglais and the Sea. 7min stroll to city centre and pedestrian area (Pietonne) or hop on one of the many buses within mins of the apt to take you further afield. You won't find any night clubs in Musicians - they don't do 'flashy' in this neighbourhood, apart from the diamond rings worn by the conservative old grand dames who populate this area in numbers. There is a certain elegance about Musicians and the area has a well-known selection of elegant restaurants. This chic 2 bedroom apt is perfectly located to explore the city. Enjoy!

Nice, capital of the Riviera is famous for its Glamour, sense of style and shopping.! Its easier than ever to get here and she has it all- from old Town Squares to live music and bustling Provencal markets, Festival in February, Jazz in July, Monte Carlo's Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival a short hop away. Not forgetting the 4km of beach that stretches along the coast. The Promenade des Anglais is more than just a place to deliberate over where to plant your towel and brolly. It is the place to see and be seen in the city-the rich and fashionable from all over the world still come to take an evening stroll before dining in one of Nice's excellent restaurants. Nice has it all for children too, from cycling and blading down the prom, swimming or visiting one of the many outstanding parks scattered all around the city. My own children's favourite is the Easter Egg Treasure hunt in Parc Phoenix. Then there is the deep cave in Monte Carlo (a must for fit kids) and the market in Italy.

Short term rentals, i.e. weekend breaks are possible all year except during July and August. Please enquire regarding availability. We are flexible with regard to 2, 3 or 4 day breaks. Nice in February is great fun as Carnival provides lots of amusement for all. Don't forget the Grand Prix in May, and we are only minutes from the station! Finally, Nice is not all about sun, -skiing, snowboarding and snow-surfing(!!) are all within easy reach from here!

Notes to the rental rates

  • PLEASE READ: A €200 non-refundable booking deposit will secure immediate reservation and balance of payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Bookings will not be held if final payments are not in by the due date given. Changeover day is usually Saturday but we will be flexible where possible. Check out time is 11am unless previously agreed.
    Shorter stays can be accommodated and price is usually quoted at €100 per night.
  • A separate security deposit of €200 is required with the final payment by credit card. This will be returned within 2 weeks of your departure provided no damage has occurred, the apartment is clean and the keys have been returned. You will be met at the apartment upon arrival and checked out upon departure.
  • Payment can be made either by bank transfer (please be aware that it takes up to 4 working days for monies to reach an account) or by credit card. All payments are in Euro.

  • The bathroom containing the shower is very large and airy. The shower is a power shower again recently refurbished. There is a large sink and mirror. There are ample towels (please bring your own beach towels) and a hairdryer is also available. The separate cloakroom contains the toilet and washbasin.

  • The master bedroom has a king size bed, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table. There are also 2 lockers with lamps, and a large upright fan. This room has been tastefully redecorated to bring a calm serene ambiance. The shutters ensure the room stays cool during the day and being at the back of the building is quiet. This bedroom overlooks the rear courtyard. The second bedroom has bunk beds as well as a king size bed, making it ideal either for a couple or a family room. There is a wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table, locker and light and a large fan. It is a huge room and my kids love reading here during the hotter hours of the day. The heavy shutters on these enormous windows ensure the room is still really dark in the mornings so you can sleep in without feeling guilty about that glorious blue sky. The big high ceilings in both bedrooms give these rooms a light spacious and cool feeling. These rooms are ideal for two couples sharing or a family of 4, (5 max).

Notes:

The apartment is special in that it has two balconies! The front one is particularly large and we have a table and chairs out here. It also has its own awning to provide shade from the sun! The sun floods this balcony in the morning till early afternoon. This is essentially another room as we have all our meals out here in the summer. It is a lovely spot to sit and watch French local life happen, not to mention smell the delicious aromas of French cooking from the well-heeled ladies after they return from the local market. The apartment is in an excellent location with an 8 till 8 and boulangerie down the road so breakfast on the balcony is a must! For those wishing to explore the region, the train station is close by so beat the crowds and get an early train to the market in Ventimille, Italy! We only believe in charging for the time you stay and so linen, towels, heating and fans are included. The property will be clean on arrival and we ask guest to leave it clean on departure.
