TGC boasts a fine clubhouse with bar and restaurant facilities overlooking the Atlantic - a wonderful place to watch spectacular sunsets. In addition to Tralee Golf Club, there are over a dozen well-known golf courses within an hour's drive of Curlew Cottage ranging from rustic to country-club, including Ballyheigue, Listowel, Ballybunion, Parknasilla, Killarney, Castleisland and our very own Ardfert (9 holes). Many clubs are offering excellent rates this year, some much lower than in the recent past. And for those who just like to knock a ball around, there's a pitch-and-putt in nearby Ardfert and a rustic driving range (like nothing you've ever seen, we guarantee it) at Kerries.
Living/Dining/Kitchen Areas: The spacious, contemporary, yet cozy living room at Curlew Cottage is the perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day. 2 Leather sofas, extra chairs, well-stocked bookcase, coffee table, side tables, open fire, wide-screen TV, SKY satellite, DVD player with selection of DVDs for all ages, board games. // Our huge kitchen combines with the dining area to provide a massive space for cooking, eating, parties and family fun, and features a solid fuel heating stove to enjoy on cool evenings. The large conservatory-style dining area, with an extending oak table seating up to 10, opens onto the back garden and enjoys a sweeping view of the sea and the rolling links of Tralee Golf Club. The kitchen facilities include a fridge/freezer, microwave, electric , oven, gas hob, electric coffee maker, french press, toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster, slo-cooker (crockpot), wok, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, utensils, etc. // Off the kitchen there is a utility room with a washer and dryer.
Beds and Baths: BEDROOM 1: king oak bed; 2 night stands; lamps; double wardrobe; chest of drawers; chair; clock radio. Connects to Bedroom 2 via en suite (en suite doors can be locked on each side). BEDROOM 2: Connects to bedroom 1 via ensuite - perfect for parents to listen out for the little ones at night. Bunk bed - double on the bottom, single on the top; wardrobe; night stand; lamp; night light; chair; low table. This sunny room faces the front garden with a lovely view of the mountains, and has plenty of room to spread out. Please note that upper bunk is only suitable for children or small, light adults. Room can accomodate extra mattress (supplied) or airbed (supplied). BEDROOM 3: Twin beds, bedside tables, lights, alarm clock, wardrobe, nightlight, seating. Sunny position with lovely view at the front of the house. Opposite main bathroom. BATHROOMS: Both have shelving + ample hanging. Main bathroom off hallway: full bath/shower; sink; toilet. En suite bathroom joining BR 1+2: electric shower (instant hot water); toilet, sink.
