This pleasant new ground floor 2 bedroom apartment with small garden is situated in the magnificent secure gated Le Lido complex in Cagnes sur Mer. It shares a swimming pool and has underpass access to the beach 50m away. The surrounding gardens are very peaceful and well maintained. The main bedroom has a double bed; the second bedroom has bunk beds which can sleep 3 people. The bathroom is spacious with a shower. The WC is separate. The large living area has a fully equipped integrated kitchen. The living area has 2 sofas, one of which opens into a comfortable double bed. Air conditioning is available for those very warm days. The main bedroom has a wooden floor and the remainder of the apartment has marble flooring. Access to the terrace is from the living room via large sliding glass doors. The two bedrooms also open out onto the terrace. The spacious terrace and garden contains table and chairs and overlooks the swimming pool

The nearest beach is 50 m away and accessed through an underpass. This is a pebbly and very pleasant beach.The small pleasant fishing harbour of Cros de Cagnes is situated here with pleasant restaurants,a sailing school and daily fish market.The long boulevard beside the sea allows for pleasant walking, roller blading and cycling during the day or in the evening. The thriving nearby village provides shops, markets, post office, banks, restaurants etc.Also nearby is the Musee de Renoir, the historical Haute-de-Cagnes with the famed Grimaldi Chateau and the Casino de Jeux is only a five minute walk from the apartment. The nearby Hippodrome de la Cote d'Azur is worth a visit.Enjoy the many restaurants all along the Boulevard de la Plage and in nearby St Laurent du Var with it's bustling marina. Nice, Cannes, Antibes and Monte Carlo are all easily accessible by train or bus. A number of golf courses are easily reached by car, in Winter the ski slopes are 1 1/2 - 2 hours away

We have just spent a great week in this lovely apartment opposite the beach in Cagnes sur Mer. Perfect situation close to shops and resturants. A great place to base a holiday on the French Riviera, quiet but oh so close to the hustle and bustle of Nice, Cannes and Monaco.

Recommended even with small children as there is a good playground close by.

Lovely place to stay

We stayed during June 09 and had a wonderful holiday. The apartment is very comfortable and set in very well maintained gardens. It was well equipped with shops and restaurants in close proximity. Great location for day trips - there is so much to see and do!

Best location in Cagnes sur Mer

My stay was only a short one but the accomodation here was perfect. Quiet, clean and comfortable in a very convenient location.

Close to the sea front with good access to the many retsaurants.

To visit Renoir's garden or Haut de Cagnes it is an uphill walk but local buses and taxis were useful for these locations.
