Kotor is the main town in the boka bay region and has wonderfully cheap cafes and restaurants. It has a local market everyday (except Sunday) which has lovely fresh local produce. It has all the tourist facilities and banks/cashpoints. Boat trips are available from the beautiful marina outside the town. The path to the old fort with fantastic bay views are just metres away. The 'old town' has so much historical importance with its churches and squares. The fjord is officially one of the most beautiful bays in the world'.

Dubrovnik airport is 80km away and is served by BA, Croatian airlines and Thomson fly and is 1 hour and 20 mins away with a direct road to Kotor. Tivat is 20mins away and is served by Jat and Montenegro airlines. there are lots of car hire available at Dubrovnik which is most peoples choice.

Coast/Beach

Kotor is dotted with numerous small beaches approx 10 min walk, where you can swim and sunbathe. The larger beaches are found within 15-20 minutes drive. Jaz beach-27km. Sveti Stefan-35km.budva-30km which also has a walled city. Perast(churches on the island)-15 km.

Skiing Information:

Skiing is available inland about 2.5 hours away.
