This resort is located less than 10 minutes from Lagos and Alvor/Portimao. Lagos is one of the Algarve's most attractive and historic towns and is a thriving resort, its main attraction being its proximity to some of the best beaches on the Algarve coast, including the famous 5km-long ‘Meia Praia’ beach that stretches from Lagos to the Alvor estuary. Alvor is a former fishing village with a characterful riverfront harbour. Portimao is an ideal for shopping, or for taking a boat trip up the coast. Praia da Rocha (that adjoins Portimao) was one of the first tourist developments in the Algarve and remains one of the region's most visited resorts. These properties are ideal for golfers as there are some of the best courses in the Algarve within a short drive from the resort, including Alto, Penina, Palmares, and Boavista.
