The best vacation property we have ever stayed at!

We stayed here September 2009 as the final week of a 3 week holiday in Florida. 4 adults and 2 young children.
First off I have to say dealing with Steve, the owner, has been an absolute pleasure. You expect good service before you confirm a booking, but Steve is a genuine friendly chap who wants you to enjoy your stay. He puts so much enthusiasm into his emails you can tell he cares.
Anyhow the house. We have never stayed in Cape Coral before, but have visited various parts of the Gulf in Florida many times over the years. To be honest we weren't expecting that much from the pictures of the house. Just good value, clean accommodation as a base while exploring the area. However, we walked through the door and WOW! The house is fantastic. Super modern with a huge living kitchen area. The pictures really don't do the house justice.
The main bedroom has a fantastic large bathroom with huge jacuzzi and beautiful decor. We were jealous of our traveling friends who got first dibs, but all the rooms are great.
Kitchen is ultra modern as is the whole house to be honest, and its a definite plus being all on one floor especially with very young children.
The BBQ was again very modern and large, and was spotlessly clean. The outdoor area has good views of the canal and a decent sized pool and spa. We spent a LOT of time in that pool and spa (sorry neighbors) and had a fantastic time. The only down side of the pool area is the tiles used around the pool were possibly the wrong choice as it gets very slippy when wet. They look nice though.
We didn't get chance to use the boat this time but will definitely give it a go when we return.
Location is good too being 5 minutes walk to shops including a Publix.
One final comment, and its on the management company - they were really good. Even brought us a bottle of wine to welcome us, and responded to minor issues with the spa, in a quick and courteous fashion.
As you can probably gather we hated the place! Seriously though I have absolutely no reservations in wholeheartedly recommending this place. We're not even that easy to please - the first place we stayed at in Orlando looked great but was very poor, especially compared to Blue Waters.
There are many great things to say about place, lots of great touches but I won't spoil it for you. Just book and have a great vacation.
