Charming family residence

For us Casa Teulada was a perfect place to stay with the whole family. We were celebrating the grandmothers birthday and were therefore in need of a place were we could stay three families. Here we had the possibility to cook, eat and and hang out together, but also where we could be alone and have some private space. We could have crazy, delicious familydinners, go to the local gelateria and have an icedream, then put the kids to bed and have another glass of wine in the courtyard looking at the stars.
Casa Teulada is beautiful painted in bright happy colours, with lots of books, art and handy items, which makes it a very personal and cosy place. This is an interior decorators dream! And as a family with three kids under the age of seven we are not spoiled with beautiful interiors, most places are practical and that´s it! The courtyard was perfect for us since we could close the porch and never had to be afraid of someone running off. The outside showers were great after a day at the salty sea. We used the grill and cooked great dinners and in the afternoon we took an aperitivo on the stairs and just talked.
During the week we took the car to different beaches and discovered the coastline which was very Caribbeanlike with turqouise water and white sand. I loved it! The kids spent most of the time under water snorkeling and diving for seashells. Clean, free beaches that weren`t even crowded on a beautiful sunday in June - i have never experienced that in Italy before.
Teulada I found was a very calm, cosy, Sardinian town. People were very friendly and the restaurant owners had a lot of patience considering we were 17(!) I bought some babystuff at the local farmacy and I was surprised how supermodern it was. They had everything which always is a comfort when you travel with kids.
So, all in all we had a great stay. It was definately a challenge to find a place for seventeen people from the age of 11 months to 66 where we all could enjoy time together. Relax, have fun, eat well, sleep well, enjoy the beach and talk, without getting on eachothers nerves. Antonio and Cristina were very very helpful during the whole process of us getting there. Finding a hostel for the remaining ones and sending info on whereabouts. I recommend Casa Teulada to anyone who wants a truly Sardinian vacation in an extremely beautiful surrounding.

We haven't hosted that many big groups altogether yet, because as you say, it is not easy to gather together so many people at the same time, but when you can make it the experience at Casa Teulada and in the surrounding area becomes really memorable! We've had another couple of "Big Families" this year and they all loved it as well, so yes, everyone is always very welcome. Please, share your thoughts about us with your friends and tell them more about this wonderful paradise as Sardinia and the area of Teulada is!
