British Virgin Islands holiday villa: Virgin Gorda

One of Mahoe Bay's largest villas, this grand six-bedroom home is just a few steps from the tennis court and a minute's walk to gorgeous Mahoe Beach with its white sands and snorkeling reefs. Built on two levels connected by native stone staircases, the entrance welcomes you into the large and very well-equipped Great Room which also houses the open-plan kitchen and dining area. A spacious covered gallery with a hanging swing and ping-pong table is just outside. Two air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites flank either side of the Great Room, each with colorful Caribbean furnishings and its own private gallery. A staircase leads down to the lower level of Loblolly and to the sunny pool area, paved with a natural stone deck, perfect for sunning on one of the villa's chaise lounges. A shaded area adjacent to the pool deck is furnished with more patio furniture, a perfect spot for reading that novel or taking a vacation snooze. Four more air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites are situated at either side of the pool and deck area, offering two more king suites (each with an additional twin daybed) and two suites with twin beds, all done in tropical fabrics and colors. Very spacious and well-designed for excellent privacy in the bedrooms, and featuring beautiful custom ceramic tile designs throughout (there's even a tile turtle at the bottom of the pool!), Loblolly is the perfect easy-living villa for a large family or group holiday!
